I earn around $400–$500/m in cash back from my Robinhood Gold Card. I invest that cash all back into VOO in a separate account designated for my daughter, who was just born a few months ago. At this rate, it should grow to $1,000,000 by the time she needs to buy her first home. It’s exciting bc I’ll use that to help buy everything from her first car, to college, her wedding, and a sizable down payment for her first house. 🤞 The best part is it’s all free money. 🤣

My grandpa didn’t invest. My father started to invest at 35 in $VOO, he’s now a multi-millionaire. I started to invest at 18 years old, I’m halfway to being a millionaire. My children will be investors the moment they come out the womb…they will be richer than everyone in my family combined.

@vibivarghese @GuyTalksFinance Not true. Just depends on if you’re willing to live below your means. Im 38 and only started investing last year. We currently throw in 40% of our take home into VOO every month. At this rate, I’ll have 8 million in VOO when I turn 55. But I plan to retire when I turn 48.

This only works well if you start investing consistently at 18. Most people don’t have that luxury. Maybe the best way for most people is get a high paying job doing what they are good at and invest up to 20% of their paycheck in the dips on the S&P 500. If they will be a millionaire depends on their income and how long they do it consistently.

There’s only one investment you need to own to become a millionaire and people still find a way to over complicate it.

Laravel is hiring a Director of Developer Relations. This is an incredibly important job because you are leading the charge on positioning Laravel as the stack for the AI era. Agents love opinions. Laravel has them in spades. 15+ years of docs in markdown, auth, ORM, databases, mail, frontend compatibility with React, and more. Other vendors are shipping queues in 2026 while Laravel's had that built in for over a decade. You don't have deep Laravel expertise to apply but you should be someone who has shipped code, can lead a team, build ecosystem relationships, and is truly excited about the era of software development that we're in. If this sounds like something you'd be into (or someone you know!) apply here → apply.workable.com/laravel/j/ECD7…

@lindsaybitcoin Recently purchased a home at 3.85% 30-year fixed. Because of the low rate, fortunately my mortgage all in consists of 22% of my take home pay. At 6-7%, it would have probably eaten 35-40% of my check.

Ok this is cool. I'm building my own version of MyFitnessPal but AI first and voice centric (via deepgram). The whole thing runs on an agentic pipeline. So I shared what I had for breakfast today. I never mentioned the brand, just the food name and the flavors I used. It found the EXACT product. The agent decided on its own to call a food search tool, matched it against a 6.3M item database, and pulled the real nutrition data. No manual lookup, no barcode scan. That's the difference between a basic LLM wrapper and an actual agent with tool calling. The next step is to build a Telegram bot so I can log meals, text photos of my exercises for that day, even send voice notes, so I can submit and check my data without ever opening the app.
