@nsquaredvalue I understand the point, but $200 / bl oil is not reversible at the snap of one’s fingers like tariffs

A year ago the S&P 500 was in this exact same position. There was a 2-week panic crash followed by a year of +40% gains. Bitcoin dumped too, then rallied +65% to a new ATH. That was when the tariffs were going to wreck the economy and bring back 8% inflation. Smart people in the news and social media said so.

@ZynxBTC @mikewmunz Yep. People will want to see them easing into the broader market volatility here.

@mikewmunz Perhaps. I think days at par is another key metric and probably more relevant. I think they'll raise it on that basis.

They still might increase it but they are well within their vwap range of keeping it the same Current month vwap is $99.94 on the website and my own calculation has it at $99.97. You’re not going to get much better than that ever This is what they want to see
Zynx@ZynxBTC

Looks like the $STRC dividend rate will be increased by 25 bps to 11.75% for April. It's been a volatile week across broader markets, and while Stretch has held up well, it's now been 5 days since we last traded at par. No problem. Saylor has already made it clear that he's willing to go as high as 15% if needed.

@BowTiedBull A lot of guidance on leverage is simply “it works until it doesn’t” The way markets behave nowadays, everything is correlated If you had serious money in in 2022, 2020, 2018 you’ve learned this You will get the margin call when everything else you own is at all time lows

This is extremely dangerous unless with limited amounts due to margin call/liquidation If you have real money then sure. Borrowing $1M on a $100M portfolio of S&P is low risk Borrowing $500,000 on a $1M portfolio of tech stocks… not so much
Ian@Ianhechtfit

Can someone explain to me why I wouldn't take a margin loan on my stocks to increase my down payment on a house purchase instead of selling off some of them? I understand the risk of a margin call happening but seems like it isn't so likely and would cause me to sell stocks anyway. @BowTiedBull

The entire aid budget for the Ukraine war in one shot so Israel can bomb oil fields without out permission Not going to the border, not paying for ICE agents, not creating domestic manufacturing or making it easier for young people to own homes Just more war

SCOOP: The Pentagon asked the White House today for more than *$200 billion* for the Iran war supplemental, sources say Some White House aides think Congress won't support b/c it's so big Will tee up giant battle in Congress

@ZynxBTC Maybe im regarded but I don’t understand how hiking rates makes any sense when the source of the “inflation” is $200 oil because of war Stimulatory, not restrictive, policy has historically been prudent during wartime

@ZynxBTC Was thinking about this earlier - with monthly dividends, there is a bit too much incentive to arb the ex-div STRC becomes even better if it pays weekly, smooths that out Could potentially even get to a point where it’s not deviating from par

It took $STRC 8 days (including the ex-dividend date) to close back at par in February. We're currently on day 3 and closed at $99.88. For comparison, day 3 in February closed at $99.50. These are important data points. It tells us the demand is strengthening. ₿ullish.

@dvassallo People pay for private schools not because of the education, but to avoid the kids their kids would have to go to school with at public schools Nobody wants to talk about this, but that’s the truth

Good private schools here cost $700K per child from kindergarten through high school. With 3 kids, that’s $2.1M. For a diploma. Just give each kid $700K at 18. That’s a house, a business, or a fully funded retirement account. No chance these schools beat that kind of head start.
Nick Maggiulli@dollarsanddata

Private schools are the most expensive placebo in America. Nowhere else will you pay $250k+ for something that has so little impact on school achievement. My latest on why private school isn't worth the cost: ofdollarsanddata.com/why-private-sc…

Predictably, a lot of the uninformed osrs community jumped on @KempQRS for a “crashout” And now a high ranking public official has resigned specifically citing the same problems It’s time the American public takes a serious look at Israeli subversion of the will of the people
Joe Kent@joekent16jan19

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

One big difference between this bear market and the last is we have a whale permanently taking big blocks of Bitcoin off the market. What is amazing (and surprising even to me) is he's still raising significant amounts of capital to do this despite sentiment being at historic lows. These capital raises have much more power as Bitcoin falls (obviously) because more Bitcoin can be pulled from the market for the same amount of dollars. Eventually bears and those who wanted to liquidate exhaust their selling supply and and a floor is set. When other market participants realize this and that Bitcoin didn't die, Saylor will be joined in accumulating BTC in size. I don't think that has quite happened yet, but when it does... 🚀
Michael Saylor@saylor

Strategy has acquired 22,337 BTC for ~$1.57 billion at ~$70,194 per bitcoin. As of 3/15/2026, we hodl 761,068 $BTC acquired for ~$57.61 billion at ~$75,696 per bitcoin. $MSTR $STRC strategy.com/press/strategy…
