I heard an incredible analogy from a VC friend that I can’t stop thinking about. “The moat in software was the cost of building software. And Claude Code just mass produced a bridge.” It’s wild when you think about the impact of this. The SaaS boom produced a few dozen billionaires and a bunch of zero sum winners. But the AI SaaS era will mass produce millionaires. There will be fewer ServiceTitans hitting $5B valuations, and instead there will be 50,000 companies doing $500K-$5M each, run by 1-3 people with deep expertise and huge margins. To be clear, I believe that the total value of software goes up, and the number of companies created goes up exponentially. But the number of people who capture the value also goes up 100x. I don’t believe in the “SaaS is dying” headline, I think it’s missing the point. It’s simply that the power of SaaS is changing hands.

Pikachu > MJ ⚡️ There are now over 47,000 PSA 10 copies of the Pikachu With Grey Felt Hat Van Gogh crossover. The card, in JUST a PSA 10, now sits above the entire market for Michael Jordan’s 1986 Fleer rookie card in any single grade.

Looks like the $STRC dividend rate will be increased by 25 bps to 11.75% for April. It's been a volatile week across broader markets, and while Stretch has held up well, it's now been 5 days since we last traded at par. No problem. Saylor has already made it clear that he's willing to go as high as 15% if needed.

Can someone explain to me why I wouldn't take a margin loan on my stocks to increase my down payment on a house purchase instead of selling off some of them? I understand the risk of a margin call happening but seems like it isn't so likely and would cause me to sell stocks anyway. @BowTiedBull

I'd prefer to hear the opinion of someone with 132 followers than the opinion of someone with 400,000 followers who got there by calling for alt season the last 4 years.

SCOOP: The Pentagon asked the White House today for more than *$200 billion* for the Iran war supplemental, sources say Some White House aides think Congress won't support b/c it's so big Will tee up giant battle in Congress

I'm not so sure we get fed rate cuts in June anymore. I think there's a real possibility that the conflict in the Middle East goes on for far longer than expected. So many questions... Trump has said that the goal is regime change, but what if the IRGC hold out? It seems the US are counting on the Iranian people to overthrow their Government but what if they don't? Does that mean American boots on the ground? The longer there is disruption to key shipping routes in the Middle East, expect inflation to rise significantly. I cannot see rate cuts in such an environment and thus we might not see the liquidity we had hoped for. Definitely one of the most unpredictable macro environments in some time.

Private schools are the most expensive placebo in America. Nowhere else will you pay $250k+ for something that has so little impact on school achievement. My latest on why private school isn't worth the cost: ofdollarsanddata.com/why-private-sc…

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.
