@JoeGoodberry @DarthNoobSaibot We’d ride him and an elite defense to the Super Bowl and lose when he decapitates a receiver running a crossing route off the ball.

@TheJoeySwoll @nikitabier I think that response is insufficient. The lack of human-in-the-loop (or failure of that) for a well known and long time content creator speaks to a bigger issue and reeks of pre-Elon Twitter.

@TheJoeySwoll @X Hi Joey, you were re-instated this morning. Our adult content model is dumb sometimes, especially for semi-clothed fitness videos.

@SandyofCthulhu @DefiantLs Tyson has no real accomplishments of his own - engineering or research. He’s a good communicator who unfortunately has decided to let partisan politics override his judgment.

@DefiantLs what a loser. I used to respect Tyson. SpaceX has done about 300 orbital launches in the last two years, and NASA has done just 1-2. Most NASA payloads are, in fact CARRIED by SpaceX. He should show gratitude instead of whining.

I follow a Harvard professor who conducts a poll every semester where two of the questions are “how many of your peers do you think are sexually active” and “are you sexually active”. This last semester the students said they thought 80% of them were sexually active but according

Hypothetical: You’re the owner of an MLB team. I offer to take $0 salary and sign a minor league contract and go to Low A. If the “he sucks now” crowd is right and I get lit up, you cut me, lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If the “clubhouse cancer” crowd is right, you see it immediately at Low A and cut me. You lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If there’s massive negative PR, which we already know there won’t be, you just cut me and move on. The story is dead in a couple days, you lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. But, assuming none of those things happen, which they obviously wouldn’t, if you like what you see, you can promote me to AA and re evaluate me there. Then AAA. Then the big leagues. If I earn it, which you’d be 100% in control of deciding. If you don’t think I’m good enough, you lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. You could take away my “antics”. You could take away my social media. You could ask anything of me. If I don’t comply, you cut me, lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. What logical reason is there to not do this? At worst, you cut me and there’s no risk to the big league club. At best, you get a Cy Young winner for $0 who you know can still pitch and could help the big league team if and when you see fit.

During my time as a Trump political appointee at DOJ, information from my emails was continuously leaked to the media after the New York Times revealed that I, as a former J6 defendant, was working as a Senior Advisor to the Deputy Attorney General. It happened too many times for the leaker to be a single person who had received my emails, so I always suspected that it was someone with an anti-Trump political agenda and a high-level "administrative" or "IT" access to the DOJ email system. I expressed my theory several times to DOJ leadership and recommended that the FBI be brought in to conduct a leak investigation, but my concerns were ignored. The details in this story below support my theory and make me suspect the leaker has continued. Now would be a good time to bring in the @FBI to determine where the leaks are coming from.

Scam Altman and Greg Stockman stole a charity. Full stop. Greg got tens of billions of stock for himself and Scam got dozens of OpenAI side deals with a piece of the action for himself, Y Combinator style. After this lawsuit, Scam will also be awarded tens of billions in stock directly. The fundamental question is simply this: Do you want to set legal precedent in the United States that it is ok to loot a charity? If so, you undermine all charitable giving in the United States forever. I could have started OpenAI as a for-profit corporation. Instead, I started it, funded it, recruited critical talent and taught them everything I know about how to make a startup successful FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD. Then they stole the charity.
X Freeze@XFreeze

Interesting how it works Elon puts up his own money, rounds up the absolute best AI talent on the planet, leverages every connection he has to secure serious resources, and launches OpenAI in 2015 as a pure non-profit explicitly created to develop AI for the benefit of humanity, with zero profit motive and open research Then the “team” decides they want the bag They push Elon out, take control, and quietly flip the entire thing into a for-profit machine All while preaching the same sanctimonious lines on repeat: “We’re still mission-driven!” “AI for the good of humanity!” “We’d never abandon our principles!” The ultimate betrayal: Elon got zero equity. Not a single share. He funded it. He built the foundation. He got nothing while they turned his non-profit into their personal cash cow This is the level of betrayal and hypocrisy we’re dealing with And for the record.... this lawsuit doesn’t put a single penny in Elon’s pocket. Any win goes straight back to the non-profit to restore the exact mission he founded

@peterrhague If you pick red, you survive. If everyone picks red, everyone survives. Yet, blue wins the poll. Now apply this lesson to voting.

Amazing how lots of self appointed game theory experts confidently asserting that blue is the stupid choice. But every time this poll is run blue wins. Not only is the “game theory” answer predicting the wrong outcome, its explanatory power is based on it being able to predict the right answer. So it’s doubly wrong.
Tim Urban@waitbutwhy

Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?

Sitting at a 16.7 handicap is hilarious. You can Hit a putt like prime Tiger Hit wedge shots like prime Phil Put a 6 iron to 4 ft like Rory Bomb a driver like Kevin Kisner And then you can have a 4 hole stretch where you become completely inept. My brain is in a pretzel, but good thing there is golf tomorrow because tomorrow might be different.

@DecDitko75 @ItsShowtime223 I went a whole winter of hitting my irons amazing at the simulator. I felt comfortable and confident approaching the ball. In my last sim round before the weather flipped, I suddenly felt uncomfortable on hole 8. It took 6 weeks of hacking around to recover.
