@SandyXiaotong Sandy, the more EVs on the road the longer our reserves and our domestic production will last to serve agriculture and maritime sectors. The cost to extend reserves out to 90 days is approx A$A1 billion per annum.

If the US sends in ground troops, it will be the end of the American Empire and the start of a future American Civil War. There is zero appetite to fight an Israeli War. Particularly by the younger generation, who the boomers have fucked at every stage of their life. These people have nothing to lose. If a draft is ultimately called, you can bet every last cent they would prefer to fight the tyrants sending them to war than the alleged enemy. Not good.

Greg Sheridan absolutely nails it this morning on #Insiders. The fact is we are filled to the brim with energy resources but our 'politics' prevents us from developing it. Our politics is ridiculous. It is embarrassing.

The fuel crisis shouldn’t be underestimated. It’s like a tax on the economy. It impacts everything. Businesses will close down. People will lose their jobs. Most people have not clicked on yet. By the time it’s in legacy media headlines, it’s too late. #ausbiz #auspol

🚨 TRUMP SIGNALS SHIFT ON NATO This is a serious moment. President Trump is openly questioning whether the U.S. should continue carrying NATO — after accusing allies of failing to support operations. His message is clear: • The U.S. has spent hundreds of billions protecting Europe • Allies didn’t step up when it mattered • And now… that commitment may no longer be guaranteed This isn’t just rhetoric. If that position hardens, it reshapes everything: European security NATO unity Global power balance For decades, NATO has depended on U.S. strength. Now the question is being asked out loud: What happens if that guarantee is no longer absolute? Watch this closely. Because this is how alliances begin to shift.

@RealWorld8422 @pwafork You would have to be suffering some kind of severe mental retardation to think any government would prefer to ship oil half way across the world to be refined elsewhere then shipped to us under any pretense of environmental benefit rather than economic rationalism.

@RealWorld8422 @pwafork The oil industry is one of the largest most lucrative in the world. As if our government would stand in the way of making us an economic superpower the likes of Saudi Arabia or UAE because of environmental red tape when were already burning millions of barrels of fuel everyday.

@pwafork LNP wanted oil companies to do that. So they went to the Great Australia Bight and then said it was too difficult. The smart money has gone to renewable power.

@pwafork This is an idiotic and simplistic slogan. Companies carry out extensive exploratory drilling based on geological evidence, but the presence of oil and gas depends on conditions set millions of years ago.. we can’t just decide where resources will exist.

MAHA movement betrayed. Trump granted total legal immunity to the chemical companies poisoning food with glyphosate. 618,000 Americans died of cancer last year and the government is protecting the killers. MAHA was one of the reasons I supported Trump. So disappointing! @ShawnRyan762

This awful Labor government is collapsing in real time. Albanese making bizarre posts about press conferences. Chalmers blamed everyone else for his catastrophic portfolio. Burke,Bowen,Wells,O'Neill, Plebershek all massive failures in their portfolios. No one in their right mind could allow these imbeciles another term.
