Not odd at all Tim, just an MP working hard for her electorate. I regularly host coffee catch ups in the electorate so locals can raise their issues with me directly in their suburb without coming into my office. I’ll continue to do this outreach until the election as the local MP.

Brooke van Velden had just leafleted my street in recent days with an Act Tāmaki brochure inviting voters to a coffee meeting down the road this Friday morning. Very odd.

@ClintVSmith So once again this bunch of clodhoppers have decided not to give the disabled/lower paid/ beneficiaries and elderly any relief at all, I dont mind at all when we give families something but somehow the above don't travel, don't work and may now be constrained in their homes,WHY?

NZ has the 5th highest taxes in the world compared to GDP. The 4 countries above us either have tiny GDPs (Nauru and Lesotho) or Rolls-Royce public services and state pensions (Norway and Denmark). We are officially the most wasteful country on Earth. statranker.org/economy/budget…

Apparently medical school now includes a new specialty: Social Engineering. Symptoms may include excessive use of the words privilege, dominant culture, and colonisation. We’d prefer doctors stick to medicine. Tell the Medical Council what you think 👇 bit.ly/4lbMgAy

Between 2007 and 2012, scientists carried out extensive ice drilling in Greenland, aiming to uncover Earth's climate history from the last 125,000 years. Their findings put today's climate alarmism into perspective. "Back then, Greenland was around 8°C warmer than today. Sea levels were 4-8m higher." "Yet the planet didn't collapse and Greenland didn't melt. There were no tipping points and no mass extinctions." "The planet was far warmer and life flourished." Credit: @Electroversenet

At one point in college, I had an obese roommate. After a few weeks, she complained about how lucky I was to be thin, since I ate more than her. The thing is, however, that I absolutely did not eat more than her, in terms of calories or just amount of food. She put ranch on everything. 600 calorie drinks. Endless snacking. Maybe my plate was more full than hers at dinner, but it was obvious tp everyone but her that she was consuming more throughout the day. I'm sorry, but after multiple instances of this happening with other overweight people, I just don't trust when someone heavy insists they're in caloric deficit. Maybe some people lose weight faster than others. For sure. But it's simple science that if calories out exceed calories in, you WILL lose weight.

@anymanfitness I ate 1200 for 44 days straight. Measured and weighed everything. I gained weight. I wish was I kidding.

🚨JUST IN: UN officials have admitted the United Nations is on the brink of complete financial collapse because member states are refusing to pay their dues. “We face a real danger of running out of money.” This is freaking hilarious. Good!! Couldn’t happen to a more useless and evil organization. Let it burn 🔥

It’s actually substantially worse than this tweet makes it out to be: The study in question claimed that black babies died more when cared for by white doctors. Not only was that finding spurious and disappeared when controlling for low birthweight infants, it DID find that white babies died more when cared for by black doctors. They were well aware of this, and an audit of the original manuscript showed a comment where they intentionally chose to downplay this because it “did not fit the narrative.” Wokeness went through academia like a fucking freight train and produced some of the most god-awful bullshit since the inception of the scientific method. Much of it has never been corrected in the public consciousness. This paper, for example, was cited by everyone’s favorite low IQ Supreme Court justice.
Steve Stewart-Williams@SteveStuWill

A famous study found that Black babies have higher survival rates if attended by Black than White doctors. But a re-analysis of the data shows the effect disappears after accounting for the fact that low birth weight babies more often see White doctors. [Link below.]
