Great place to start! Once you nail down those habits you can add in a few more: - reduce light exposure at night - wait 60-90 minutes before having caffeine in the morning - wake up with a cold shower in the morning Take your time and don't feel like you need to do everything at once

No idea where to start? Make this your January blueprint: -Lift 3x/week -Eat a minimum of 30 grams of protein each meal -Walk intentionally for 30 minutes daily -Go to bed before 10:00 PM Before worrying about anything else, make these nonnegotiable.

@pntrack We have a 22.2 / 48.9 / 37.2 300H boy that runs XC. He runs the first mile of every race gets his split and steps off. And then he does more speed related stuff when everyone else is doing mile repeats

Regardless of how you get there, regardless of how much grit you show finishing the 400… Don’t lose sight of the importance of the SPEED required to compete at this level. Quincy Hall ran the first 200 of his 400 in 21.00 (and was in 5th place). 21.00 ⚡️⚡️⚡️

🗣️ “I have a pretty big engine. I used to run cross country. I put a lot of mileage in, a lot of stuff like that. So when I dropped down to an 800, 1500 runner before, and then I dropped down to the 400 and worked on foot speed and a lot of jumps, I always had the strength.” You know what they say: Strength = speed 🤷‍♂️ After winning the 400m Olympic title, @QuincyHall400 shares that he actually used to be a cross country runner before dropping down to the middle distance events, and ultimately, the sprints. 🎥 Full press conference: youtu.be/ZbfQIX2JbZU

The road to average is filled with people playing it safe. When you’re willing to get uncomfortable, you can get better. Pursue progress.
