Iirc the survey is stuff like "how is your communication w your nurse/physician?" and on every single question it goes down after any acquisition. Which to me makes a lot of sense -- patients don't like change (new processes, caregivers, etc)

This study finds that when a PE firm buys a hospital: -wages and jobs are cut -patient satisfaction declines -prices stay the same So everyone associated with the hospital is worse off, except for the PE owners who pocket the savings from the cuts. This is “heroic” because…?
