@jackieschneider He's also not looking gloomy, he's actually listening to the woman in the red jacket. It's a skill few politicians have, but he's always had it. The ability to listen and be interested in other people. If only Starmer hadn't bullied him out of the LP.

Or:
Hardworking MP Jeremy Corbyn is looking tired as he takes the bus. Unlike most MPs he refuses to claim expenses & use taxis, preferring to use the bus.

Starmer thinks he won the 2024 election. My dog could have won that election, and I don't even have a dog. #Starmer

Why is Starmer talking as if he hasn't been in power for two years? Does he think we are all idiots? #BBCNews
English

The women of Parliament; @HackneyAbbott @ApsanaBegumMP and Badenoch absolutely screwing Starmer to the floor on his lying in the House. No one believes the lies and Starmer needs to do the right thing and go now.

After nine months of waiting l've finally received this book from the library. I'm really looking forward to starting as I only have three weeks to read over 500 pages. #TheFraud

@flying_rodent In his head everybody is 'intellectually, morally and socially inferior to him' which makes him such an insufferable prick.

@LondonPubMap Found this pub, by accident, after visiting The Garden Museum (also recommended) by Lambeth Palace. It's a lovely pub and we really enjoyed our time there.

The Prince of Wales
📍Cleaver Square, London, SE11 4EA
The pub dates originally from 1792. It stands on what was then called Prince’s Square built in 1789, the first garden square south of the Thames. It’s a charming pub, in a great location. #londonpub

When, in 1966 Country Joe McDonald wrote the line "Be the first one on your block to have your boy come home in a box" he probably didn't realise how relevant those words would be in 2026. Rest in Protest Joe. #CountryJoeMcDonald

@MsAnnMcD @DailyPicTheme2 The transporter bridge. Went over that by accident whilst in Bilbao to see Springsteen.

@AndrewGodsell I don't think Starmer will resign anytime soon. The problem he has is that Mandelson and McSweeney have so much dirt on him that they can pull the trigger at will. It's only a matter of time. In around a week there will suddenly be a story in The Times and then it's game over....
English

Thought last night that #KeirStarmer will announce his resignation as Prime Minister on Tuesday. Expect Parliamentary Labour Party meeting Monday, and Cabinet on Tuesday, will lead Starmer to conclude he should go.
Perhaps David Lammy will take on acting PM role?

@SoundsClips @TalkingHeadsNet Saw the Aylesbury gig, Talking Heads were very good. Dire Straits were quite dull.

@Thunderoad75 There’s something happening here,
What it is ain’t exactly clear,
There’s a man with a gun over there,
Telling me, we’ve got to beware.

NOW PLAYING: Joni's often overlooked debut. So many great songs, including the superb Cactus Tree. Producer David Crosby's name is strangely missing from my remastered copy. #vinyl

@RodneyMarshall1 Thanks Rodney, and the same to you. Because of your posts we box set all of Foyle's War, soup to nuts.

@KarlTurnerMP This is the sort of comment I'd expect from a Tory MP, not a Labour MP. Disgraceful.
English

This is why @jeremycorbyn would never have been accepted as the leader to be PM. Fact is we don’t deny the right to strike but what is reasonable is that they @TheBMA do not do it in the run up to Christmas. Grow up Jezza.

Solidarity is at the heart of our movement. That’s why I will always support healthcare workers in their fight to restore their pay, protect their patients and save our NHS!

@OborneTweets This chaps writing on Alex Carey actually reduced me to tears. What a great wordsmith. Thank you, Peter, for reposting his work. I'm now a follower of his.
