Is it perfect...no, is it good enough to show it to the world where the future of rendering is going to...yes. Neither was chatgpt finished when it came out (gpt3.5). But it changed the world...

I'm lost as to what your argument is/feels like you're moving the goalposts a bit here. Something doesn't need to be "completely finished" for people to point out that, hey, this tech seems to have some problems as presented today. I'm not "anti-AI", as I stated I think there's big promise here. I think it is perfectly, absolutely valid to point out the (very) visible flaws in a heavily promoted new tech, even if it's still in active development.

The online bros hate DLSS 5 and they don't even know why. 10 years ago if someone showed you a GPU that could generate photorealistic pixels in real time you would have lost your mind. Now NVIDIA announces exactly that and people are mad because the word "AI" is in it. Anyone saying otherwise is lying to you.

However does this mean it has to be completely finished? This is meant to showcase the tech so everyone can prepare. Even anti-AI people, you will come around..

This was accompanied by a press release, a campaign across all their socials, a list of launch titles and several consumer-focused comparison clips made in collaboration with half a dozen studios. You absolutely cannot frame this this as an early technical experiment just a meant only for dev/studio consumption. They are very clearly and extensively promoting this to consumers today. Asking consumers to not evaluate it, when NVIDIA is spending lots of time and $ wanting consumers to evaluate it, is silly.

@ashu00923 @karankendre Yeah but something makes it work less for my use cases then going to the Providers themselves like google/openai or choosing a different provider like t3.chat. Idk what it is, but they are using RAG more and saving cost on something, looking at my outputs.
