Proud to join 250,000 people on the streets of London today to commemorate the Nakba and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people. For 78 years Palestinians have faced ethnic cleansing, occupation, apartheid and genocidal violence - but the struggle for liberation continues. From London to Gaza, we say: from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free 🇵🇸

Keir Starmer is correct about the need to heal divisions. But to equate protest of the genocide in Gaza with the hate march led by Tommy Robinson is a disgrace. If Starmer thinks this is how we heal divisions it shows he hasn't begun to understand the problem.
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

Today the voices of division will be loud. They don't speak for the country I know, one that belongs to all of us. That's our Britain. A Britain worth fighting for. lbc.co.uk/article/keir-s…

@alejandra_la_b Well I’d say it’s pretty depressing to let a country committing genocide participate in Eurovision personally

@LukeDUTG @Official_BRFC Brilliant. Two of the players absolutely key to our resurgence. Much more important than Leigh, as good as he was at times.

Council elections are better than general elections because you get to vote for more than person. In the case of Green Party voters, that means they can not only vote for transvestites, but also for the people who want to hang transvestites from cranes.

The Green line ‘they’re rattled’ is the same line the Corbyn people used, before they crashed Labour into the ground in its worst election result since 1935.

Not remotely a leftist, but as someone who was a strict vegan for many years and who still eats as "plant based" as possible, let me try to answer: It's because veganism actually requires you to fundamentally change your lifestyle So much of leftist politics is just performative nonsense You can't perform a plant-based lifestyle Hope this helps!

@MisterJordine @PTElephant Absolute nonsense. Parenting of the boys is the actual issue, obviously. Since that isn't happening, the issue very much becomes safe spaces.

When I was 13, I was r*ped For years before that, boys and men groped me or made sexual comments about my body Some of my earliest memories are of the boy across the street trying to trick me into kissing him or bending over so he could look up my skirt It took me 3 years after my r*pe to encounter someone who told me I was allowed to have boundaries around my body She was the first person to validate my notion that other people had no right to touch me This is why girls need their own spaces They need to be told, early and often, as all children do, that they can have boundaries They need to have those safety instincts encouraged, and not eroded or dismissed Our trauma and our sense of danger isn't a weapon Boundary erosion, however, is. It's the sharp knife you don't feel going in until it's too late
