There shouldn’t be a way to snipe handles. They stay reserved to the original channel for a few weeks in case that channel wants to switch back. If you’re trying to switch handles between channels you’ll have to wait through that buffer period before you can claim it for the other channel Contact creator support if you help!

Hi @TeamYouTube. I temporarily released my handle @suganthan to transfer it between my own accounts. The exact second it was released, an automated sniper bot registered a new account and stole it. The bot account was created today with zero content. Please help me recover it.

I do this as a creator. As a viewer you’ve made it harder to actually see everything I’ve subscribed to. I hate that the subscription feeds can be littered with short form that I don’t want to see and is hard to navigate on TV. I don’t want shorts on my home page and I don’t want it in the sub tab.
