I am very simple. I want a large stock portfolio. So I buy stocks. If I sold stocks, that would make my portfolio smaller. I want bigger, not smaller. I don't sell stocks. I buy stocks.

You don’t use ETFs to build wealth; you use them to protect wealth you already have. If your net worth is under $250k, diversifying into a Broad Market ETF is just a fancy way of staying middle class forever. Go for growth or go home. Agree or Disagree?

And has a 5yr cagr of under 15%. Mid. It hold 290 tickers, you couldn't name 100 of them. Repeat, financially illiterate

@ducksays And put 1% down. The interest rate will be 1% higher than if you put 20% down. That's a great tradeoff.

You inherit $50,000. What would you do? - A: Invest it all today. Lump sum. - B: Spread it over 24 months. $2,083/month. Lump sum outperforms DCA about 2/3 of the time historically. But if the market drops 30% next month, you'll feel it immediately. What do you do?

@QC_Capitals I rarely sell anything. But I keep my losers small. I'm not 'hoping they recover', but sometimes they do. I only add to winners. I don't add to losers.
