1 of 2, Great conclusion within this article. illumin.usc.edu/ballistics-of-… "...it is important to remember that firearms possess no more disposition for harm than an automobile or an airplane. Our fear of guns comes not as a result of the science and engineering that produces them,

Colorado! Vote NO on SB26-135. They are trying to eliminate our TABOR refunds. As always, they will sell it as education based. TABOR is what restricts government spending. Without it, our deficit will most definitely surpass the $1.5B we are currently at.

BREAKING: All 6 Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee voted to PASS SB26-135 which would ELIMINATE TABOR Refunds in Colorado permanently! All 3 Republicans voted, No!

This is your reminder that when the 2020 election was blatantly stolen, the GOP did nothing to stop Biden from being installed & knowingly certified a fraudulent election. SO why are we shocked the SAVE ACT hangs in the balance? This IS the GOP. This IS what they do.

Glad you asked. You often need a birth certificate, Social Security card, or passport first. If those are lost, replacing them can take weeks or months. Some people (especially older adults or those born in rural areas) may never have had official records. ID cards cost money (even “low-cost” ones). Replacement documents also have fees. Add in transportation, printing, or time off work, and the total cost increases. For someone living paycheck to paycheck, this can be a real barrier. DMVs or licensing offices may be far away, especially in rural areas. Public transit may be limited or nonexistent. Not everyone has access to a car or someone to drive them. Offices are often open only during standard work hours. Long wait times can mean losing half a day (or more). Taking time off work isn’t always possible without losing pay. Rules vary by state and can be confusing. Small mistakes can lead to rejections and repeat trips. People with disabilities, language barriers, or limited internet access can face extra difficulty. Name changes (marriage/divorce) require extra documentation. Homeless individuals may lack a permanent address. Elderly people or disaster victims may have lost records. People recently released from incarceration often need to rebuild documentation from scratch. Do these answers address your question?

What is the extra hurdle, James?
James Cappleman@JamesCappleman

@PolitiBunny This isn’t about Democrat vs. Republican women. It’s about whether every eligible citizen should face extra hurdles just to vote. Needing help to get an ID proves the barrier is real.

These senators slipped in a provision to reopen the government that guarantees them $500k if DOJ settles their Arctic Frost lawsuit. And we’re supposed to be okay with that? What about J6? This is outrageous. Really disappointed to see some of the names on this list. You can’t self-deal like this—especially not by weaponizing a government shutdown. Absolutely ridiculous, @LeaderJohnThune.

Is this True Colorado?

Well, would you look at that? Thanks to the Fb group that publicized the decisions of this committee with names and faces. Less likely to forget. Vote them out. In Colorado, you can rape a child and get probation instead of prison. A bill to change that just failed — for the third year in a row. Four Democrats voted it down. 4 to 3. For the third consecutive year, Colorado lawmakers have killed a bill that would have required prison time for convicted child rapists. Senate Bill 26-111, titled "Protections Against Child Rape," was voted down 4-3 on a party-line vote in the Senate Judiciary Committee on March 18, 2026. The four Democrats who blocked it: Adrienne Benavidez, Nick Hinrichsen, Katie Wallace, and Mike Weissman. Under current Colorado law, a person convicted of sexually assaulting a child can be sentenced to probation instead of prison. The bill would have eliminated that option for certain Class 3 and Class 4 felony child sexual assault cases. It was sponsored by Republican Senator Janice Rich, with bipartisan House support from Republican Brandi Bradley and Democrat Regina English. Bradley said on record: "In our state, in Colorado, you can rape multiple children as long as it's only one time and receive probation." The same type of bill was killed in 2024 (8-3) and 2025 (6-5). This was the narrowest version yet — and it still failed. One of the four lawmakers who voted against it, Senator Hinrichsen, is also the lead sponsor of a bill to decriminalize prostitution in Colorado. Both bills went through the same committee. Let me get this straight. There's SNAP fraud, EBT fraud, Medicaid and Medicare fraud, home healthcare fraud, daycare fraud, medical transportation fraud, and hospice fraud, but definitely, absolutely no election fraud?

@gordythomas @RandPaul Net worth of $129 Trillion would be a close number. With human and intellectual added it becomes around $309 Trillion. At least that's what AI is telling me.

@RandPaul Yeah I don't think so. When you include all of the land and structures in the United States, both government and private and consider that it's true worth is probably far in excess of its old appraised value, as well as all of our mineral and oil resources and timber...get it?

The Treasury just quietly admitted the U.S. government is insolvent. $47.78 trillion in liabilities. $6.06 trillion in assets. My Six Penny Plan would balance the budget in five years. But that would require the government to actually stop spending money it doesn't have. finance.yahoo.com/economy/policy…

Let that sink in. 535 people in Washington believe they have the right to run the lives of 330 million hardworking Americans who fund every single one of their paychecks, their perks, and their pension plans. And here is the part that should make every American furious - they have stopped acting like public servants and started acting like permanent rulers. Every open border, every wasted tax dollar, every law passed to protect their donors instead of your family - that is on them. We pay the bill. We get zero say. They get richer. We get ignored. No more excuses. No more games. We the People built this country, we sustain it, and we have every right to demand they do the job we hired them to do - or get thrown out.
