@miss__slaughter Unfortunately I think it's a psychological thing we do to simplify the complex world around us, but it definitely has its downsides, especially in how the culture of the world is today.

@RottKing Pleasing map geometry hits a very specific itch for me that is often neglected.

It's still so funny to me that TF2 got a cross over with a sous vide machine, of all things. Where was the market overlap? Valve was just doing shit

Epic has raised numerous red flags over the years that they are a volatile, aggressive company who will turn whatever resources they have toward fighting genuine or perceived competitors, be it money, fans, or ideological support.

@Ceremor @quintcan @Olliemnjones Good speakers with proper room acoustics can be superior to good headphones but good headphones provide a more consistent experience and with less set-up, yeah.

@RetroNuva10 @quintcan @Olliemnjones The chad desk viewing experience trumps home theater every time. Monitor closer to face, takes up larger portion of viewport, finer details can be seen. Headphones provide better audio fidelity. Unless you have a literal home theater there's no better way to watch a movie alone

@quintcan @Olliemnjones Depending on a normal TV setup, a computer monitor setup can be more desirable at least to me as it's closer and consequently larger in my view.

@TafferKing451 It always amazes me how Nintendo can make such amazing games and yet be so wildly out of touch with basic common sense. It's honestly painful to watch sometimes.

Now running with buttery smooth 3800 fps. Still lot's of room for improvement, but I think I'll leave it at that.

@RetroNuva10 We've used A to Z Media in the past, they do great work, but the wait is over a year, last I heard. Getting vinyl pressed is miserable right now.

I'll probably hold off on Stay at Home/Nostalgia 64 and Kurkoin Quest until they are complete, but don't worry, I'm patient. I might play them on my own time anyway. Other existing #BanjoKazooie mods are @RetroNuva10's Cut-Throat Coast, a troll hack by ThatCowBoy "Fort Fun",

Went ham with the unwrapping of this one, and managed to get a good amount of detail in a 128x256 space (for just the character) through some pretty square unwrapping , tris count ended up being 700

@Dark__Wulf @lmaosuine420 @faerun4lyf @SuperRetroRyan @MarioBrothBlog Based on these definitions, you're saying it was unintended to keep the doors open? When would they close? When they go off-screen? This would be more jarring to a player than it would be for them to close when they leave the area entirely.

Supper Mario Broth@MarioBrothBlog·
In Super Mario RPG, Mario never closes other people's doors after himself. If he opens a door and walks away, the door will remain open. The only exception is the door to his own house, which Mario will immediately close after himself.
