@iloveairbagged My criticism is that it's just another hero shooter coming into a space where it doesn't really out-do any of the other games in the genre. We live in an attention economy, and I don't see it pulling players away from Delta Force, Arc Raiders, or Tarkov.

@okaymiguel @forallcurious Most Solar Systems are binary star systems, so they have 2 stars at the center, versus ours, which is just 1. On top of that, Gas Giants are normally located closer to their stars and the rocky planets are on the outside edge. Ours has rocky planets closer to our star instead.

It’s wild to me how many people are either rooting for Marathon to fail, or genuinely expect the game to die. Bungie created HALO and DESTINY. I’m sorry but that alone has me friggin hype to check it out. I also thoroughly enjoyed the open alpha. Can’t wait to play.

This game is too good to be true. I dont even doubt all the features shown will be in the game, but I doubt this game will run at over 20 frames per second. Like, there just HAS to be a catch, and it's gotta be the performance. THERE IS NO WAY this game will run well
