Love your tea, but not the caffeine?
CSIR–North East Institute of Science and Technology (@CSIR_NEIST) presents India’s first indigenously developed decaffeinated black tea—with 90–95% less caffeine, yet the same rich flavour you love.
Enjoy the tea, minus the caffeine.

Most researchers have nothing on Larry Richardson. Racking up more than 130 citations in 4 years, he seemed like a scientific superstar in the making. Except the studies were gibberish—and Larry is a cat.
This “exercise in absurdity” is an eye-opening look at byzantine world of scientific rank, and just how easy it is to manipulate. scim.ag/46HmdMu #InternationalCatDay

The controversy around the Indian #Rupee symbol, ₹, takes me back to the morning at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (2010). I was casually walking back to my room in Hostel-13 when I noticed a crowd gathered near the entrance of Hostel-7. It was not students—there were media mobs, cameras, and mics. Something big had happened!
Curious, I approached one of them and asked, “Kya hua, sirji?”
“A student from IIT Bombay has won the rupee symbol competition,” he replied, brimming with excitement.
My first instinctive response: “Udaya?” And then, without waiting for an answer, “Wow! You know Udaya?”
“Yes,” I nodded. “He’s my senior in IDC.”
That’s when one of the journalists perked up, nudging his colleague. “Arre, he is Udaya’s junior! We can take his byte till Udaya is available.”
And just like that, I found myself unexpectedly caught in the media frenzy, all because I happened to know the guy who had just designed a symbol that would be etched into India’s currency forever. Please see the video at 1:05 ;)
PS: I also submitted an entry but I think, ₹, the better #design won.
