@ChrisAlvino @reghud This man was born in Alabama, grew up in Kentucky and lived in Tennessee and magically didn’t know racism was that bad. That ain’t naïveté. That’s just stupidity.

This is my issue with conservatives explained in a single video: They are COMPLETELY unable to practice any kind of empathy (neither cognitive nor emotional) with any out-group. Until they have first-hand experience with an issue, they cannot fathom that it even exists

A middle school cafeteria during lunch rush. A young girl walks up with a tray; when she gets to the register, the staff member checks her account and says, “You don’t have money left on your card. You’ve already had three warnings. I can’t give you this.” The girl quietly says she hasn’t eaten all day. The employee shrugs and tells her, “You need to talk to your mommy.” The line behind her grows, eyes watching as she slowly puts the tray aside and walks away. It’s hard to ignore how situations like this affect kids; not just physically, but emotionally. Hunger is one thing, and then also the embarrassment and shame in front of peers can stick with a child for years. Schools are supposed to be safe spaces, and denying food this way feels like a system failing the very kids it’s meant to support. How do we create a better solution where no child is left hungry or humiliated in a place meant to care for them?

She thought it was the perfect date, mini golf, drinks, laughter at PopStroke, the kind of night that feels easy and fun. They even made new friends, kept the energy going, and decided to head to another bar nearby to continue the night. Everything felt smooth… until they walked in and the mood shifted instantly. IDs checked. One question asked: “Have you been drinking?” She said yes and just like that, the bartender shut it down. No drinks. No debate. “You need to leave.” Confusion hit fast. She wasn’t causing a scene. She had a valid ID. Nothing felt out of control. So why her? Why now? She even went back to test it again, different company, same answer. Still refused. No explanation. Just a firm “not tonight.” And suddenly, what felt like a fun night turned into a moment she couldn’t stop replaying. Was she being judged… or was something else going on? The internet had its own take, and it wasn’t what she expected. Sometimes the moments that feel unfair in real time might actually be someone stepping in for a reason you don’t see yet. If you were denied service like this… would you be offended, or stop and wonder if they saw something you didn’t?

This happened at a Costco in Queens. And it was all because the black man wanted the shopping cart the Hispanic couple was already using. A. Shopping. Cart.

The Indiana Fever announced that all 44 of their games will be on national television, and on the promo, they had Kelsey Mitchell front and center instead of Caitlin Clark. This is intentional—the WNBA continues to kill Caitlin with paper cuts rather than embrace her.

Former NFL player Wesley Leasy and his daughter are suing after police detained them at gunpoint in a case of mistaken identity while he was picking her up at the airport. Leasy says officers handcuffed him on the ground and pointed guns and lasers at both of them after mistaking his white Mercedes for a homicide suspect’s vehicle — even though the suspect was described as a young white man with tattoos on his face and neck. Leasy told @annaschecter the encounter left him fearing both he and his daughter could be killed. CBS News has reached out to the Phoenix and Mesa police departments and has not received a response to the lawsuit.

White American soldiers declared war against black soldiers for Social mixing with white women. This was in 1943 cause back then you could be killed in America for a scene with a white woman.. the white soldiers in America treated the Nazi prisoners of war is better than they treated African-American soldiers. True story. this was in England.

@TheVolumeSports @colincowherd @DannyParkins If Kobe teammates would have been fouling the other team on purpose when they are up by 30 to try and get him a record, he would have scolded them and took himself out of the game. Kobe had a mindset of don't give it to me, let me earn it. That's the difference.
