YouTubeのビットコイナー反省会で「ビットコイナー vs web3女子」が放送された影響なのか、最近Bitcoinとweb3が二項対立項で語られることが多いと感じます。 Bitcoinとそれ以外の仮想通貨(web3)は、ブロックチェーン上にあるデジタル資産というところは共通してますが、資産としての性質は全く異なるので、単純な比較は難しいんじゃないかなと思います。 BTCは、よく例えられますがゴールドのようなものなので、使用用途がなくてもそれ自体に価値があります。 一方で、それ以外の仮想通貨(web3)の多くは、企業の株みたいなものでソリューションの上に価値が付いてます。つまり、ユーティリティがなかったり使われてなければトークンに価値が付きません。 また、ゴールドは特定の発行・管理主体はありません。木、水、石と同じような共有資源です。だからBTCも分散的に管理されるべきなんです。 一方、web3はやはり企業の株のような性質があるので中央主権的な管理主体がいるのが一般的です。もし発行主体が分散管理が最適だと思えばそうすればいいのです。(うまくいってるところは少ないですが) ビットコイナー反省会で東さんも言ってますが、web3はビットコインとは違うのにビットコインの仲間のように振る舞うから訳わからなくなるんだと思ってます。 web3トークンはビットコインと同じことはできないし、逆にビットコインはweb3トークンと同じことはできない。 未来はわからないけど、これが現時点の解だと思います。 youtu.be/kr7sUbB31Z8?si…

I've been a huge fan of @X since @elonmusk took over. Monetizing the platform has been MAJOR. I never anticipated making money off of here though. I was just interested in journaling my own thoughts, posting some funny memes and learning. The #Bitcoin community has embraced my content with open arms and has been extremely supportive over the last few years. Super grateful for all the love and appreciate all the relationships I've built. I never anticipated earning a (modest) wage off of this app. It's truly remarkable what you can do when you grind every fucking day. Currently, I'm working a full time job ~ 60 hours a week with travel. Every dollar I earn from my full time job goes straight into Bitcoin. The money I earn from X pays my bills. And it actually does pay my fucking bills - INSANE.🤯 It's incredible what you can do when you put your head down, stay focused and don't let offers discourage you. Just keep putting in the work day in and day out. It didn't start out like that. It was slow at first, but if you stay focused you can achieve everything you set out to do. Last year, @satoshibaggins and I started a newsletter, @TheBTCTherapyNL. We've grown to nearly 7,500 subscribers so far. It has been an absolute blast.
