I really feel for Mark Walsh, he’s effectively a dead man walking until the end of the season. I do think people are forgetting he’s been the most successful jockey for JP, being badly treated & forgotten imo.

Two hours later got trucked to a lay by next to a dual carriage way, waited another few hours before getting trucked to Cobham. Left the van there, got a taxi back home and got in just after 6am just an hour late for work

One of my best friends has broken down in his Capri in Northampton. Reported it to the @TheRAC_UK at 3.30pm and they’ve estimated they’ll be there between 9pm & MIDNIGHT! You just know they’re going to arrive with a van and then it’ll be another 5 hours for a flat bed! If you’re near the BP on Northampton Road give him a beep! I don’t think the RAC seem fit for purpose looking at recent issues with them RAC. @RAC_Care

@soawwe @MartinSLewis I’m interested in this as well. Does this mean not only do I have to pay £300+ a year VED as its commercial but also 1.5p/mile and fuel duty even though most of mileage is done on petrol. I’ll go back to a nice diesel instead.

@MartinSLewis Can you please help clarify how this works in practice for plug in hybrids? My phev does around 30 miles on a charge, which I used for school runs etc. Will the surcharge apply to all miles I do in the car or electric miles only? If electric only, how will this be monitored?
