Watching Trevor Phillips fillet Polanski. Wow , his normal NLP strategies not working.

Horrific and reprehensible. There is absolutely no excuse for antisemitic violence, or violence of any kind. Jewish communities shouldn't have to live in fear.

Piers Morgan asked Russell Brand which passages were relevant to him when he brought a Bible into court.

💥 Deputy leader of @TheGreenParty Mothin Ali is at the really extreme pro-Islamic Republic of Iran protest in London RIGHT NOW. What is he doing there? This is shocking even for him. 🎥 @uprising_1

The attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States are illegal, unprovoked and unjustifiable. Peace and diplomacy was possible. Instead, Israel and the United States chose war. This is the behaviour of rogue states — and they have jeopardised the safety of humankind around the world with this catastrophic act of aggression. Our government must condemn this flagrant breach of international law, and urgently pursue a foreign policy based on justice, sovereignty and peace.

You’ve said “goodbye” twice now but sometimes good to tweet for the record. Point 1: Mehdi you didn’t answer the specific question. The question was: - ‘How can Muslims help with the “responsibility to protect” #R2P (or right to protect) the people of Iran who are being exterminated in the name of Islam as we speak?’ If point 1 in your response was a reiteration of your previous “position” being against intervention. My question was meant as an opportunity for you to alter your position as a Muslim of influence. Anyone can see it is not a humanitarian position to take now. The “RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT” #R2P is the UN norm created in 2005 specifically to protect a population being exterminated by its government. In this case international intervention is not just a moral obligation, it is a legal imperative. Imagine you are being attacked by a nutter who wants to kill you. I am there to intervene and stop you being killed. Would you reject my help because you once thought I was “operating in bad faith” on @X? Point 2: There was no bigotry. @AlinejadMasih was pointing out to her own mayor in New York that it was hard to celebrate “hijab day” when there’s a regime in Iran that kills women simply for wearing it incorrectly. Also when we hear news of 50 unidentified female bodies found in Kahrizak, Tehran, which sources say were mostly found naked. This puts your comments of “raging Islamophobia” against her in context. Point 3: I never said Islamophobia was justified anywhere. Also criticism of the regime is NEVER Islamophobia. Point 4: What Spiked is or isn’t is irrelevant. It’s the content of the piece that’s important. Point 5: What ever the response of the Iranian people against their evil radicalised Jihadist government, you even mentioning an opinion that some Iranians - despite their lived experience - were “raging Islamophobes” - completely denigrates their suffering. The kind of Muslim who puts conditions on supporting human beings being slaughtered is a Muslim with baffling morals. Calling out the Islamic Republic is the moral duty of Muslims around the world. Without political caveats. Silence is complicity. #IranMassacre

Fact that Andrew Marr had no idea about the Islamic regime’s close connection with Venezuela is very significant. Former UK minister for security @TomTugendhat explaining very clearly what Iranians have known for years. Watch #IranRevolution2026

Tehran, tonight BIG: Iran has shut down the internet nationwide and disabled phone lines, cutting communications across the country. Total blackout to take place very soon.
