Let's make something clear with Bill 25. Teachers are still allowed to talk about political science, current events etc. But it must be presented in a neutral and balanced way free from personal bias. Schools should teach kids how to think not what to think.

It’s a moral imperative, and it’s the biggest winning issue they can differentiate themselves on. The BC Human Rights Tribunal literally stated the following: “If a person elects not to ‘believe’ that gender identity is separate from sex assigned at birth, then they do not ‘believe’ in transpeople. This is a form of existential denial. “A person does not need to believe in Christianity to accept that another person is Christian. However, to accept that a person is transgender, one must accept that their gender identity is different than their sex assigned at birth.” The Tribunal has declared that all British Columbians must believe in gender identities.

@Prominent_Bryan Here’s the thing. He was a school trustee, and therefore part of the employing body of a school district. It’s not just what he said, it’s that he said it from a position of power with people he had authority over (including employees and kids) .
