@brittanihislop And I might add that I volunteered at the event and helped to plant many trees that weekend. I have one of the tall cedars just east of the ball park.

@brittanihislop This was an event during Richmond's centennial celebrations in 1979. It was called "plant your roots in Richmond" and members of the public could purchase a tree to plant in a pre-determined location. There is a master list somewhere, possibly at the community centre.
