@TLRsCoolStuff The first three movies have genuinely incredible action scenes that would blow the roof off if they came out today. Meh movies but jaw dropping visual setpieces and choreography

I know Bayformers aren't very good as movies, but this sequence changed my brain chemistry as a tween. Unironically one of my favorite action set pieces of all time. It's one of those bits where everything just works. The VFX, car stunts, and score are especially nuts.

@SavinTheBees Pendulum Wars would be sick but they probably need to test the waters and see if there’s interest in gears visual media with the classics before jumping to adapting the less popular stories

@SavinTheBees The wording kind of confused me, I assume it’s just gonna be the gears 1 story because surely “origin story” doesn’t mean it’s gonna follow Kim’s delta squad in a multimillion dollar movie right?

Ah. I’m actually kinda* disappointed because this sounds like promo work for E-Day. But expected. Would’ve preferred something else like Pendulum War. Still seated though I guess.

@Sidera__ The steam deck was the obvious choice for that same use case over this when they were around the same price but now that the deck is astronomically more this just makes a lot more sense as the entry level handheld buy

@Sidera__ Definitely wouldn’t say it’s bad. Good screen, great ergonomics, great speakers, great battery life, the only asterisk is performance, it’s just not gonna run most heavy AAA games very well. If your usage is lower fidelity titles/indies you’ll have a great time with it

Anyone have one? I might pull the trigger on this. Any good?
