@nspector4 As an Albertan for 7 decades the news from today’s announcement is a big let down. No energy company is going to invest in any project going through BC. I can see us getting a pipeline through the US but none within Canada. Once again we are squandering a golden opportunity. Sad.

@Drjackkruzze Agreed. It’s one of the differential diagnoses that is common. Until you know the refractive change, measure acuities and look at the lens you don’t know the full story. I’m just not a big believer in anecdotal news.

I wouldn’t jump straight to diagnosing him like that from a distance. Changes in vision like needing readers or mild blur can come from a lot of things, aging lens changes (like nuclear sclerosis), near-work strain, lighting conditions, even how much time someone spends outdoors. But it’s not something you can confidently label from conversation alone.
Rick@Ricktheeyedoc

@newstart_2024 Or, he is devolving nuclear sclerotic cataracts that are making him mildly myopic.

Joe Rogan ditched his reading glasses after using red light therapy. Gary Brecka shared this on Diary of a CEO — after a few weeks with a full red light bed, Rogan’s eyesight improved so noticeably he no longer needs readers. And that’s just the beginning. Brecka explained the science: specific red and near-infrared wavelengths (photobiomodulation) enter your mitochondria, kick out nitric oxide, and force oxygen in. This jumps cellular energy production from 2 ATP per cycle… to 36. Sixteen times more efficient. The ripple effects hit inflammation, skin, brain health, and recovery hard.

@nspector4 No matter how much the left tries to deny it, we are tied to the US in more ways than one. Trump is temporary but a border is permanent. Get over yourself and get on with making a deal.

@FoodProfessor @jfeilders Maybe (at least I hope) if Starmer is forced out or quits Canadians will feel safe enough to open their eyes and see that Carney is doing a very poor job as PM.

While U.K.'s PM Starmer is facing growing pressure to resign amid a sluggish U.K. economy, PM Carney’s popularity is at a record high — despite Canada arguably being in worse shape on several key metrics, including unemployment, productivity, private-sector growth, and food inflation. Wonder why...

@lamphieryeg People adapt to pain of any form and we’ve had over 10 years of economic pain so stats like this mean nothing to people. Egos and pride are ruining what remains of Canada. We have become a tribal nation and not a country.

@Untethered_Coin @RobertW96576248 @wealthmoose His big problem is his ego. He won’t back down because his pride and so called legacy would take a kicking. We pay the price for his pride. I’m ticked off in a big way.

@Ricktheeyedoc @RobertW96576248 @wealthmoose My guess is he doesn’t care about the truth. He’s either so ideologically tied to his ESG narrative that he won’t listen. Or he knows it’s not true, but wants to continue his green grift!

🚨🇨🇦The OECD ranked Canada's future. DEAD LAST. 38 countries. 38th place. For projected GDP per capita growth through 2060. Not projecting a recession. Projecting a generation. Carney just borrowed $25B more.🤔 🍁 #CdnPoli #OECD #Canada

@moneytalkstweet Carney tries hard to spin that Canada is going to be an economic world leader under his leadership. The truth is we bail our industry after industry and the one industry that could lead the world he won’t build pipelines for.

Important background not mentioned The A220 didn’t appear out of nowhere. It began as Bombardier’s CSeries, funded with roughly US$1B tax dollars from Quebec. After cost overruns & slow sales, sold to Airbus, which assumed risk for $1. Quebec has written down much of its investment and since added more capital. A win for taxpayers??
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

Airbus et AirAsia viennent de conclure un accord qui représente la plus importante commande d’avions commerciaux de l’histoire du Canada. Le Canada bâtit en grand, et le monde entier souhaite bâtir avec nous.

@JDHaltigan Every single woman has multiple tattoos that make them very unattractive. They work out to stay healthy but then turn around and have ink injected into their skin. Dumb idea.

I have noticed at the gymnasium a very disturbing trend of highly attractive women who proceed to wreck themselves with tattoo slop. This warrants some empirical investigation. I imagine some deranged transgressive feminist influence is behind it. It's repulsive.

@DavidStaplesYEG The Liberals are going to end up bailing out all businesses and citizens at this rate. I figured Carney would be bad for Canada but he is exceeding my expectations.

More government debt won’t help to make Canada more competitive. Carney fails to do the hard things that will help: cut spending, axe red tape, stop his climate alarm rhetoric, axe all carbon taxes, and get a sensible trade deal with the USA.
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

Workers and businesses are feeling the impact of unjust U.S. tariffs — so we’re stepping in. This week our government invested $1.5 billion to help Canadian companies and workers adapt, diversify, and win in a shifting trade environment.

The constant raging online is getting completely out of control. At times it feels less like adults engaging in discussion and more like adults-turned-children the moment they log on. Name-calling. Personal attacks. Mockery. Endless outrage. Where are the adults in the room? Disagreement is normal. Debate is healthy. But somewhere along the way, many people stopped trying to understand each other and started treating every conversation like a fight to win. A society cannot function when everything becomes anger, tribalism, and emotional reaction. We should be able to disagree without dehumanizing one another. Or is this asking too much?!

@lamphieryeg Will countries like Canada acknowledge this new fact and eliminate all their harmful green policies? Will AB get a new pipeline ASAP and remove the tanker ban? I don’t think Carney will respond because to take action admits you were wrong for years and helping AB is bad news.

@GasPriceWizard If only JT and his liberal Mouseketeer’s had the foresight to maximize Canada’s oil and gas industry we would be printing major amounts of money and reducing our debt. Instead they decided to be a different kind of green and virtue signal their supposed greatness. Ugh!!!

@nspector4 I’m not being facetious when I ask, why do Canadians and the MSM want AB to stay as part of Canada? Because we are a united country or it’s in the constitution are not answers. Family members leave families because they find the family is holding them back for bigger things.
