Highly unpopular opinion especially right now in this moment. You have to trade Reaves or Luka. And it wont be luka because of his name obviously. Reaves is a great player but does not play his best game when on the floor with another dominant player. The ball is in Luka hands when luka on court because luka is not an offball player. Reaves isnt really either but JJ won't bring him off the bench to control that 2nd unit by himself since reaves is starting level talent. If yall truly want to build around luka them getting as many pieces for reaves is the path. A player who is 6'10 or taller sf - center not another guard. Trust me luka has that pg and guard scoring covered. Lakers need something else to really win deep in playoffs. We have seen reaves do "okay" in playoffs. 15-20ppg in playoffs which is nice, but that is not enough to win a championship. Especially when he doesnt have the ball enough to get 20ppg plus 10 assist. And he doesnt get 10 rebounds a game at sg. Lakers need more athleticism or size beside luka. Not another guard scorer. A giannis would be nice for in outside luka inside giannis scoring duo but i doubt bucks want reaves.
