This is tragic and painful to watch. A South African telling another fellow South African that they cannot work in another South African province simply because they come from a different province.
Someone once warned that when xenophobes and Afrophobes are done targeting foreign nationals in South Africa, they will eventually turn on fellow South Africans. That warning is now becoming reality.
Imagine a black South African telling another black South African that they do not “look like people from this province”, therefore they cannot work there. How painful is that? To be told in your own country that you do not belong because of how you look, how you speak, or where you come from.
This is backward. This is dangerous. This is a tragic failure of critical thinking and leadership. South African leaders should never allow this poison to grow. History has already shown us where this type of thinking leads. In Rwanda, people were divided, dehumanised and eventually butchered on the basis of identity and appearance. We should never allow Africa to move anywhere near that darkness again.
What is happening is unacceptable on every level. It is heartbreaking as a black African to watch fellow black Africans treat each other this way. Those of us perceived to be elites are often insulated from this madness because we live in affluent areas and work internationally. But what about ordinary people trying to survive? Are we now saying a carpenter from Gauteng cannot travel to North West to look for work because he “does not look like people from there”?
Come on. This is bad. Very bad.
Africa cannot progress while people are taught to hate one another over provincial identities, ethnicity or nationality. Leaders across the continent must stand up firmly against this nonsense before it destroys communities and generations. Africa needs unity, dignity, tolerance and opportunity, not this shameful politics of division.

@daddyhope If the minerals are being mined profitably or if the proceeds/profits are being channelled to the correct coffers, why is this a point of discussion

This bombshell statement by former Black American ambassadors is accusing the United States of turning HIV and humanitarian aid to Zambia into a geopolitical bargaining tool tied to access to Africa’s critical minerals.

@FabrizioRomano That’s the confidence Rashford needed. When a manager like Hansi Flick backs you publicly, it says a lot about your quality and impact. 👏

Why is it, Hon Minister, that there seems to be an incessant narrative portraying local black individuals as either land barons or land invaders? More often than not, they are simply victims of circumstance.
I recall an incident involving Rautenbach , who sought to appropriate land in Kambuzuma-Marimba (Video Clip) despite it having been lawfully allocated to the residents. Remarkably, he lacked title deeds, yet was supported by certain Ministers and government officials. One day, I will reveal the names of Gvt officials involved in the scam.
I took it upon myself to lead the resistance alongside the Kambuzuma residents, going so far as to present evidence to the President, who had been misled regarding the situation. At that time, I served as the MP for Norton, but I stood in solidarity with the Marimba residents, despite it not being my constituency. This case serves as a glaring example of how egregious abuses can transpire without the President's knowledge.
Fortunately, the President intervened and protected the residents from eviction, allowing them to maintain their homes to this day.
However, it is galling that Rautenbach was compensated for land he never truly owned! It is disheartening to witness actual land barons like him evade accountability while residents endure hardships.
Recently, he has been exploiting Chewore Lodge, orchestrating a shocking series of events that have resulted in Terry Kelly, a fellow white man, losing a facility he has managed for decades.
My experience with Rautenbach dates back several years; I played a pivotal role in establishing his business units at Chisumbanje and Todal Mine, as well as Hwange Mine. To this day, he owes me as a result of our previous agreement. I know his modus operandi.
In spite of his dubious activities and questionable character, Rautenbach continues to operate with impunity, bolstered by connections within government. How is it that such a person can persist in appropriating assets and properties at the expense of impoverished locals who have far greater needs for land and housing?
Ndovaridzi vevhu ava, why must they suffer? Ndivo vanokuvhoterai sei muchivadai, why do their voices seem to be overlooked? I would not be astonished to find evidence of financial incentives behind this move by the Minister.
Before Rautenbach receives any compensation, he should be compelled to present legitimate title deeds. He already possesses another farm in Karoi, yet he continues to pursue further acquisitions.
Our citizens and MPs are still in dire need of housing, and yet we find ourselves catering to the criminal whims of a single white individual because of connections to Ministers. Ministers have been getting more and more, while MPs are yet to get even the promised stands. Ministers even received $400 000 housing allowances, and MPs, only $40 000.
This is fundamentally unjust. Fairness must prevail in our actions.

🎙️ 🚨 Paul Scholes: “I’ll always take Marcus Rashford back at Manchester United because when you watch this team, they clearly lack a player with his qualities. Cunha is a very good player, but when Rashford is at his best, there’s no comparison between the two. 🔥🔴
Look at what he’s doing at Barcelona — the talent, the pace, the movement, it’s all still there. Selling him for just £30m would be a huge mistake in my opinion. United made a similar mistake with Scott McTominay and I hope they don’t repeat that again. 👀💣
Rashford is a big-game player. When he’s confident and in top form, he delivers. He’s still at a great age and has a lot to offer at the highest level. If you look at United’s current wingers, none of them have Rashford’s directness or ability to change a game on his own.
He is not an injury player, if you want to win the league you need this kind of players who can come in and change the game, they need this kind of quality in the team.
For me I think , bringing him back would be the right decision.”

It took Jurgen Klopp 3/4 yrs to win the Premier League and Champions league with Liverpool.
It’s taking Arteta 6 yrs to build Arsenal to go for both the premier league and champions league.
This was achieveable cause both Arsenal and Liverpool are not a sacking club.
Carrick won’t be given such time at Manchester United that’s for sure, before he will be sacked and this is fact.
Both Arteta and Klopp got the backing and support despite the odds.
Arteta finished 2nd 3times in a row and is still backed, Klopp lost the Europa league final but was still backed.
Carrick won’t sniff such grace at Manchester United coupled with the fact that he is already don’t have a style of play that can be built on and lead Manchester United to glory.

@cantonadevils@Cantonadevils
13 years since Manchester United last won the Premier League. 15 years since Manchester United last played in the champions league final. Ever since then, Manchester United standard have been celebrating making top 4, and getting champions league football.
