@ItsumoNihongo You order it like this then dump it into a pitcher of coffee at work and everyone now has fancy coffee

@NoahCRothman There's no mass media video manipulation showing one-sided horrors on the ground.
English

@RilsRislan @idokius @AndrewKolvet So you're cool with a citizen impregnating an illegal just to have a child? Interesting. Keep moving those goal posts. The pedo will totally notice you.
English

@Reggie7588 @idokius @AndrewKolvet You think the children of American citizens shouldn't be citizens?
English

@RilsRislan @idokius @AndrewKolvet So as long as an American cream pies a foreigner, its cool? Sounds like you're a hypocrite.

I am going through a lot right now, but I feel the need to say this during these unprecedented times: A lot of Iranians supported the strikes because they believed it will help them topple the regime. I myself reluctantly supported it and went against everything I believe in. I can’t in good conscience support this shit show. This is a war on Iran and the Iranian people and it’s not about changing the regime. I apologize to the Iranian people because I knew better and let my emotions influence my decision. To kose Nanat Trump.

@SenSchumer Trump’s manipulation of DOJ highlights systemic corruption while Americans face wars, inflation, and instability, showing leadership priorities remain dangerously misaligned with justice.
English

Good riddance. Pam Bondi was the wrong choice from the start.
But the rot at the Department of Justice begins and ends with Donald Trump. As long as his focus is on using DOJ as a tool for revenge and not law enforcement, the cover up of the Epstein files, along with the countless other problems at DOJ, will continue.

@Forms_Respecter @AlHollywood1 @JonahDispatch Then you're not trying hard enough. Amend the Constitution.
English

@AlHollywood1 @JonahDispatch I laugh because voting does basically nothing. Even if you could elect a congress that would actually do something good for the voting public, a progressive judge would just say "lol, no."
English

My warm take on birthright citizenship:
Wholly defensible to be against it as policy and wholly reasonable to want to reform it in some way.
Also intellectually defensible to say that the 14th amendment is being misinterpreted. Doesn't mean I agree, but I don't think it's crazy either.
But even if you win that argument, you still need to deal with century+ of precedent and statutory language that codifies it and has created massive reliance interests.
I consider it an open question whether Congress can repeal or modify birthright citizenship.
I think it is absolutely nuts and dangerous to think a president can repeal it through executive order, and defending the E.O. because you agree with the underlying policy is itself indefensible.
That's it. That's my take.
English

@JonahDispatch If it's destructive to the country, and Congress is incapable of dealing with it, what's left besides executive action?
English

@sentdefender Iran didn't have to hold the strait hostage.
Iran doesn't have to hold it hostage now.
The World didn't have to accept the terms of the rogue state.
English

@AndrewKolvet That's harsh. Do you expect Trump to kick out all his children born before his wives got their citizenships?
English

Assuming these people were at the restaurant for 2 hours
A $60 tip means this server made $30/hour off this ONE TABLE
Is that not enough for a waiter to make?
Does being a waiter really need to be a $150/hour job?
The entitlement behind a lot of tipping culture is insane

English

@Mappy6984 I'd ask to talk to the manager.
Also, the server still made more than the government did.
English

@danwinesalot @JonahDispatch I'm just trying to think of any way Congress could do more than nothing at all.
English

@RilsRislan @JonahDispatch 100% this. They could surely pass such a law but I’m skeptical about its durability under judicial review.
English

@Spiritualaside @TinyWriterLaura She didn't feel involve in the male on male gay romance pornography.
English

i’m sorry i refuse to believe that any adult thinks reading first-person in a book means that they, the reader, are somehow meant to be involved in the story. it’s impossible to be a grown-up and think that when someone else uses ‘I’ they’re talking about you
sage !@aiboufueled
@bogwitchbooks Cause to many people want to be self inserted snd dont like looking st things from other POVs. I hate first person myself because I DO NOT want to he involved in the story. I didn't do shit lmao... im the camera man, keep me out of this. So first persons always a dealbreakee
English

@AusFfm4 @JonahDispatch It's not clear meaning, that's the entire reason we have this entire disagreement.
English

@RilsRislan @JonahDispatch Go to law school and then talk to me about this. Congress cannot change the clear meaning of the constitution by legislation.
