So today, which is a holy day (Good Friday) for us Catholics, his Muslim friends fasted with him until noon and no one had meat. they all had vegan/vegetarian meals. my heart is so grateful for these signs of love ❤️

@RippedWilliams @Smil3yAngel Actually, you get paid 1.5 for the hours you work, and an additional 8 hours either paid out or a paid day you can take off at a later date. If you work that day and take the 8 hours pay, you are effectively making 2.5. I’m my union’s ship steward and can confirm it is true.

Yesterday I found out that Good Friday is not a statutory holiday in the US. It is in Canada 🇨🇦 Most Canadians (Quebec is different), get the day off with pay. If you do work, you get 2.5x your pay, or a paid day off. Yet another reason why I'm thankful I'm Canadian. 🇨🇦❤️
