And months ago at Davos, Azerbaijan’s sovereign oil fund signed a framework with Brookfield worth up to $1.4 billion. So Canadian energy gets stalled. Canadian workers get ignored. Canadian exports stay trapped. But foreign corridor politics get Carney’s full attention. Interesting priorities.

Amazing. Alberta ships about 4.4 million barrels oil per day. The United Arab Emirates ships 3.1 million a day. They are fantastically wealthy. Alberta and the UCP can’t figure out how to build schools and provide healthcare, and runs a $9.4 billion deficit. Awesome management.

How Albertans vote federally is irrelevant, since we are outvoted by the rest of socialist Canada. The Greater Toronto Area alone has 58 federal seats compared to only 37 in all of Alberta, so Albertans can't even outvote the GTA.
Independence is Alberta's only viable option.

My last Casino shift two days ago: got called in at 730 pm (90 min early) and handed over at 730 am. First 12 hour shift in two decades.

There are ER nights when you can't leave when your shift is long done. It doesn't matter you're tired. The evening shift becomes a full overnight due volume and acuity. The ship is taking in water fast and there's just 2 doctors to bail and you can't abandon your colleague.
