U.S. President Donald Trump has fired all 24 members of the National Science Board, the body that oversees the National Science Foundation. Many science advocates see it as the latest step by his administration to erode—some would say destroy—the independence of the 76-year-old research agency. scim.ag/4eGM0YS

@TrustPointe Reply 3: I like her ChatGPT Graphics - they are catchy and fun looking - what's wrong with that? Also I would argue that ALL testing labs got few things wrong - people like @finnrick_tests & @Krysia830073 & others are doing their best to bring honestly & uniformity from the labs

She seems really good because she writes a lot of words Anyone with the slightest bit of analytical background knows she has no idea what they mean or what she is talking about She was bounced from Discord servers for spreading misinformation there

@TrustPointe I do not know @Krysia830073 personally but even after almost 40 years in peptide science I do not know everything! No one can! And I like reading her posts because she takes the time to ask questions from different labs!!!

Make sure you follow her for deep insights and ChatGPT-generated infographics that say things like “HPLC-UV” is not used for identification When Identification by Retention Time is a United States Pharmacopeia recognized test (she deleted the post)

@TrustPointe Dear TrustPointe scientists I saw that one of you comes from Pharma and that is fantastic especially for testing for all peptide markets! But is there really a need to downgrade and be rude to others who are learning & trying their best to educate others?

Nature’s most complex skeletons just met their match. The Viresh Rawal Group has officially achieved the first total synthesis of Ussuriedine, a rare, 7-ring alkaloid from the Veratrum genus. While its chemical "cousins" have predictable shapes, Ussuri dine is a structural outlier defined by a dense, bridged core that resembles a rigid cage rather than a standard steroid. This "architectural knot" has long stumped the synthetic community because traditional reactions often fail under its immense geometric strain. By deploying a high-stakes Stevens rearrangement—a strategic molecular pivot—at the very end of the process, the team successfully snapped the final rings into place. This breakthrough provides a new blueprint for how these molecules likely form in the wild, proving that laboratory synthesis is a vital tool for decoding the mysteries of the natural world. No one has better labels than Crushresearch.com Not only does every single peptide get multiple vial testing, I put the results directly on the label. This was why I opened my own store. Because I passionately believe in transparency, which does not preclude affordability.

@rorynotsorry @dmosbergen I think we should encourage vendors to put the correct potency on the label once tested if there is a big gap as not everyone looks at CoA

@Rkdukor @dmosbergen Then I am sure that she will correct the record. Though I disagree that it’s a mislabel for underfill / overfill if the vendor is testing it specifically to get an accurate amount.

Shout out to @RKdukor at BTLabs who confirmed that The Times article on peptides by @dmosbergen comment that 20% of products are mislabeled is either a mistake or twisting of words. Hopefully Dominique has integrity and has the article corrected... there is a big difference between mislabled peptides and concentration conformity, especially since vendors send products to BT Labs specifically to verify potency. Its the same playbook by all reporters... exaggerations followed by the inevitable scare tactic comment by @EricTopol (the go to source for these things). I wont link to the article because I don't want to give SEO to shoddy work.

@rorynotsorry @alphaenu @finnrick_tests @EricTopol Hi Rory - yes - what I said was we see about 20% do not conform in potency (concentration) - not mislabeling of peptides - probably similar to @finnrick_tests combined results from several labs

@rorynotsorry @finnrick_tests @EricTopol One last comment - I have not spoken to many reporters but I support that they shed light on what is out there - encouraging vendors / consumers to test! All your products in a supermarket are tested and so is your regular medicine. So should these peptides!

I call BS. There is no way 20% of the samples tested by BT Labs are mislabeled. Mislabeled samples happen, but if it was that prevalent we would see it at @finnrick_tests data. Also, every time we @EricTopol comments or is interviewed by the media, I always sit back and wait for the 1000s of people that have had bad first hand experiences to chime in agreeing with him.

@rorynotsorry @dmosbergen Also @dmosbergen is correct - it is ~20% mislabeled and she gives one of the examples (names) but incorrect potency is 'mislabeling'! The labels should be corrected after testing!! So I don't think she has anything to correct

@rorynotsorry @alphaenu @finnrick_tests @EricTopol Also all these 'providers' really need to test the contents of the vials - we often see crazy amounts of mannitol (per small amount of peptide) and other fillers! Also we see endotoxins and even some bacteria. And we advocate testing for heavy metals and acids.
