Chelsea won't sell all 3 of João Pedro, Marc Cucurella and Enzo Fernandez in this window. They will, however, give Xabi Alonso carte blanché with the squad and he is going to emphasise that if players are not fully committed, they are free to go.

McFarlane is liked and respected by the players so no real issue that he stays on. He will help Alonso with information on behind scenes issues as he has been there to see it first hand. As a coach he has had two very close games with Liverpool and City. Also seen as a bridge for the younger players. Not sure why people are complaining.
