I can't speak for other members of the eCash crew, but I've always been a procrastinator. Someone who needs to wait until time is almost running out before I feel pressured to really get in gear. This is why I believe 2026 will be the year of ecash:native

Not every cycle is about hype. Some builders zoom out and ask a harder question: what actually fixes broken financial incentives? That’s the lens eCash ecash:native dev @BytesOfMan brought to the stage last year at the Electronic Cash Conference in Barcelona.

Dear @cobie, since I'm told you are the future CEO of @coinbase, I ask that you please look into the @eCash project with the ticker $XEC. The team has been building relentlessly ever since they forked from BCH (despite being the creators of BCH) and have made serious progress in solving many of the challenges facing blockchains today. Since the project is a Bitcoin fork, the team can't give Coinbase a ton of coins as payment for a listing fee, but presumably Coinbase already has a ton of XEC from the 2020 fork that was never airdropped to your customers and could provide instant liquidity on your platform. It's a win-win-win for Coinbase, your customers, and a project that is serious about becoming cash for the Internet. Given the recent news that a fake eCash willing to steal half of Satoshi's coins is about to launch in the next few months, the urgency is high since XEC is already listed on Binance, Upbit, Gate, Coinex, Sideshift, etc. The upcoming stork fork getting listed anywhere using the same eCash brand will only cause confusion in the crypto markets. I urge Coinbase to do right by their customers and list XEC before that happens. The team is happy to help with any technical issues. Also happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I've always considered you one of the few good guys in this industry that has an actual following, and I'm hoping you can help the good guys at @Bitcoin_ABC to get their project the attention it deserves. I also find it fascinating how the @eCash Avalanche nodes exhibit a classic 80:20 Pareto distribution. As of today, 14 peers (19.4% of all peers) represents 84.3% of total $XEC staked. To me this suggests natural dynamics rather than deliberate manipulation.
