@trainofangels00 Would you except the compromise that a non-citizrn can be deported but can remotely attend their appeals and be allowed to return if the conviction is over-turned?

Patrick Brown recently argued that non-citizens who commit crimes should be deported immediately. He believes that fast-tracking these deportations is necessary to keep our communities safe and protect the integrity of Canada’s immigration system. To him, if you break the rules, you lose your right to stay. However, I strongly disagree with this approach. As a centrist conservative who believes deeply in the core values of our Constitution, I know that everyone in Canada deserves a fair trial, NO MATTER their legal status. Skipping the legal appeals process destroys our justice system and leads to unfair mistakes. Furthermore, kicking people out right away ignores the real issues. We are blaming international students and temporary workers for bigger problems like high housing costs and broken school systems. Instead of using newcomers as scapegoats, Canada needs a compassionate system that protects human rights and fixes the root causes of crime. My opinion. 🇨🇦 #canpoli #HumanRightsMatter

@Reil76 Its not a out winning. It's about validating their anger. Forcing the governments to recognize the issues and take them seriously. If separation wasn't growing, would a pipeline be in the discussion. The PM has been on record to leave oil in the ground.

Honest question for Alberta separatists: What’s the plan if the referendum fails? Not being sarcastic. This is a real strategic question that any serious independence movement needs to answer before it gets on the ballot. What’s the threshold you’d accept as decisive? What happens to the movement the day after a No vote? Does Alberta walk away from the table, or does this become a generational campaign? The Quebec playbook took decades and two referendums. Is that the timeline you’re signing up for? Because voters deserve to know what they’re actually being asked before they vote.

@TrpstrLeonOG @joe4deadcat Most people i know that are full time employed and raising a family did not go to college. You need to see where you can position yourself in the job market. Usually success isn't "what do you want to do?" It's "what can and are you willing to do?"

boomers could pay for college with around 300 hours of minimum wage work. millennials needed thousands. gen z needs even more. and people still act like younger generations are just “bad with money”

@Caterin49788702 Correction: The U.S. and Israel have sanctions on Cuba. The rest of the world is available for trade. In fact Cuba is a huge tourist location for most of the world.

@itsnwts Your 1st premise is wrong. I won't just believe a women is a slut because someone says so. If I know the women I can judge for myself how likely it is. Most women I know i wouldn't believe for a second. The exceptions usually have a reason.

@guyfelicella Why wouldn't you just build or repurpose an apartment building with rooms for insite staff? Building tiny homes is trendy but not a better solution.

@RodAVanier The problem is that "reasonable force" is subjective. In some cases charges will be filed against home owners because of a prosecutors opinion of what is reasonable. Even if charges are dropped the he owner is punished via legal fees.

Not a chance. The use of reasonable force is already permitted. PP wants permission for home owners to use unreasonable force in defense of their home. How American is that!

Who supports @PierrePoilievre new law initiative equivalent to the USA Castle law that would provide you the legal framework to protect your family & home from invaders !

@JezziiB Why would a women sleep with someone who won't use a condom if requested? Why are you allowing men to be irresponsible with you? And should you be surprised their lack of responsibility carries forward from conception forward to the whole life of the child.

Men refuse to use condoms, to get vasectomized, and to raise children. And yet they want to punish women who have abortions. That's misogyny, not morality.

@CreekInCAN But when a province provides Healthcare in a way the Federal Liberals don't like, they clawback the funding. Example, Sk has some private clinics for testing such as MRI. You can pay out of pocket. The federal government started to clawback funding as a result.

🚨🇿🇦 The richest man on earth. Born in South Africa. His name is on nothing there. Not one hospital. Not one trust. Not one shelter. Not one library. Not one scholarship. Not one clinic. Not one housing project. He could fund any of it. He has chosen none of it. Instead he sells the world a story of white victimhood, while millions of black South Africans still live in the conditions built for them by white supremacy.

The majority of Ontarians will never use Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Let’s be honest it’s mostly used by privileged, wealthy people like Doug Ford and frequent business travellers. So why should everyday Ontarians be paying billions in tax dollars for this when our public healthcare system is collapsing and public education is being underfunded? That money should be going into hospitals, nurses, doctors, classrooms, and students not another convenience project for the wealthy.

@MaryTracy As a child who Gen X that was raised by Boomers, you are wrong. They worked multiple jobs and cut every corner to save. They also didn't have to waste money on Cable, internet, cell phones. They has a TV with an antenna that provided all entertainment. It's easier to blame.

They did NOT live cheap. They had restaurants, with tablecloth and cloth napkins. Do NOT buy the revisionism that tells you the Boomers had a better life because they spent less money: THEY SIMPLY HAD MORE MONEY
Jim Sharp@prowrstlngstrng

I am not defending boomers, but they did generally live pretty cheap in their 20s Going out for coffee was insane. You threw Yuban into tiur Mr Coffe and put it in a thermos Eating out meant a trip to Pizza Hut maybe once a month Vacation was driving to a campsite
