I can't help but feel personally burned by the Claude Code changes announced today. We put so much work into wrapping the (atrocious) Claude Agent SDK in T3 Code. It was the ONLY path they supported, so we made it work. It was hell. Now our users are getting their rate limits cut by 40x, despite us doing everything right. I listened to the Claude Code team. I had my issues with their direction, but I trusted them and took them at their word. I will never make that mistake again. Until we see significant change, it is safe to assume any statement from an Anthropic employee is a lie on a timer. The rug will be pulled, no matter how many promises are made beforehand.

@SnazzyLabs I often agree with your takes but your take that SwiftUI saved Mac dev and the language out lived it's creator is a little out of touch from how developers feel.

Resend started as a frustration.
As an indie hacker, working nights and weekends, I felt like every email service was built for someone else.
So I decided to create my own.
Today @marclou runs 33 startups solo on it.
I know Resend is not for everyone (and that's okay), but it feels nice to be able to build products for other indie hackers.

@benhylak I’m not saying Airbnb’s current interface is optimal for AI. It isn’t. The future interface should be conversational, but visually richer than a chatbot. It’s a hard problem, and we haven’t solved it yet.

@jeetnirnejak @motiondotdev Looks nice! I'd suggest removing all animations. Command bars are meant to be fast and keyboard-driven. Those animations make it look slow and get in the way during day-to-day use.

I use an M1 MacBook every day for design and code. It's been so good that I'm only just starting to think about replacing it with an M5/M6. If you told me the difference between an M5 and an M4 it wouldn't help me buy.

Tech companies are basically lying to you: - They compare their new products to ones released MANY years ago (to make it as confusing as possible to figure out how much has actually changed this time) - They invent new specs that mean absolutely nothing (like how much zoom their phone cameras can do) - They write “up to” just before telling you how much their new product has improved by (so you can’t sue them when you don’t get those numbers) And a LOT more So, I decided it was time to break it down with @MKBHD on YouTube - video live now

@lexrus When I created Klack, I made it for myself. For some reason it always made me feel more focused when using it, as if every keystroke meant something more. It was an idea that refused to leave my thoughts, I just had to make it. Can't speak for others though.

What if Macbook notch was a place you could store stuff?
I'm building myself a MacOS app I'm calling Knapsack. It's essentially the inventory UI from Animal Crossing but as a clipboard manager. You can store stuff there, assign icons for that stuff (because why not), and more.
