The Golden Kitty Awards at @ProductHunt are live, and it's been interesting to see some of the changes in trends since last year: - Web3 went from our top category last yr to #11 this yr. - AI rose from #7 to #3 -- this mirrors a huge increase in AI on PH toward the end of '22

@JoanneKimber Hi Joanne. Sorry to hear you are having issues. I am currently not in the business but do contact the support team via the live chat on app or web and the team will be able to resolve quickly. Or email support@hiyacar.co.uk.

@Rob_Larmour you claim Hiya car is charging the way we use cars forever. I’ve been charged £125 for a £15 congestion charge. The phone number on your invoices doesn’t work, conveniently & your LinkedIn profile requires a premium to contact you. Not cool.
English

@lukeflegg @hiyacar Hiya Luke. I have just seen this tweet. Has the issue been resolved and if not, what price are you looking to set your car up for and I will get that sorted for you. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
English

@hiyacar My car is listed at £80 per day
I try to reduce it
Your platform says "No. That's too expensive" and tries to force me to make it insanely ridiculously cheap.
You don't have a clue how much a high end, brand new EV is worth in central London.
English

@hiyacar Could you let me decide how much to rent out my car for Please?
Thanks a lot.

@milh0use @yummymummysw11 @BobFromAccounts @Zipcar Happy to help with any questions regarding @hiyacar. We have p2p car sharing, a car club, closed loops (so only share with people in your loop) and a monthly car subscription where you can also share the car on the days you are not using it. Something for (almost) everyone :)
English

@EmmaWoolliams @SpeakSarahSpeak @Zipcar @hiyacar Thank you @EmmaWoolliams and let's touch base again about getting an automatic near you. @SpeakSarahSpeak saw your tube ads today 💪
English

@SpeakSarahSpeak @Zipcar @hiyacar is better than Zipcar, but the nearest option to me is 3 miles away. So I’m thinking of buying a car and making it available through them. That would also mean my teenager could drive it. But there’s still challenges to overcome, even in London.

We've extended our car club trial to Sittingbourne.
After the success of the trial in Faversham, we're working with @hiyacar again to offer three hybrid vehicles as part of the car club in Sittingbourne.

@BrianColeman251 @TfL @SadiqKhan One thing to add, you can go whole hog with cargo bikes, etc; but otherwise it’s useful to have access to a car, via something like @hiyacar and @Zipcar for the occasional times you need to carry furniture, or go somewhere further afield, etc.
English

@david_mccraw @cocteautriplets David, may I DM you regarding your situation and Hiyacar as I think I can help :)
English

@AbigailDombey @david_mccraw @hiyacar @shareourcars Yes so for us at @hiyacar the additional driver needs to be a verified member and added to the booking before it starts. Only the main driver can do the pick up process but the additional driver can then drive at any time.
English

@DamoAdonisSmart Thank you Damien for putting your trust in us and giving us a go. We really appreciate it and here to help if you need anything at all.

Have you tried Hiyacar? It’s an app that allows neighbours to share cars. You can hire my car via this link: hiyacar.co.uk/rent-a-car/937…

I think it is only fair to mention that @IslingtonBC has responded to our emails and we have a compromise situation so that is progress so thank you 👏
English

@CineQ @IslingtonBC Genuinely want to work with you @IslingtonBC on this so please do reach out via DM as we are a value add service for your residents..even ones who do not use us will benefit from fewer cars, more space, and better air, so really is a win-win for everyone.
English

@Rob_Larmour @IslingtonBC Could it be a policy aimed at favouring residents over visiting businesses that is blind to the particular benefits and use cases of car clubs?
I hope @IslingtonBC will review and amend whatever the case. Supporting car clubs and other shared use models should be on the agenda.
English

@IslingtonBC can you explain your parking permit strategy please as currently it is designed to increase private car ownership. A resident permit is £130 a year yet for our car club it is £250 per month. Our cars are being used by 20 different residents per month but we pay 15x
English

@ClemCowton @GoingElectricUK @IslingtonBC It’s an interesting question. We don’t see this from our data (bookings and car data) as we do not see many 1 or 2 hour bookings, it’s more like 6-12 hours and then 1-2 days. People tend to do shorter car journeys if they own and opt for active / public transport if they don’t.
English

@Rob_Larmour @GoingElectricUK @IslingtonBC Perhaps the concern is this could encourage short car journeys within the borough?
English

@GoingElectricUK @ClemCowton @IslingtonBC No the ones we have are universal so can park anywhere in borough. We have asked for dedicated bays if they are cheaper but not had a response yet.
English

@Rob_Larmour @ClemCowton @IslingtonBC Does the car club permit come with a guaranteed reserved parking space marked out on the road?
