Kenyans need to start asking harder questions. KSh 39 MILLION of taxpayer money is reportedly still allocated every financial year toward colonial-era pension payments. That is: - Enough to employ dozens of nurses or teachers. - Enough to stock public hospitals with medicine. - Enough to fund bursaries for vulnerable students. - Enough to support struggling public universities. Yet decades after independence, Kenyans are still expected to fund opaque colonial pension schemes with little public transparency. @UKinKenya @GOVUK: Are you aware these payments are still being made in 2026? Who exactly receives this money? How many beneficiaries are still alive? Are these taxes actually reaching legitimate recipients? Where are the audits, life certificates, and public records? Kenyans are overtaxed, underpaid, and struggling to survive but somehow colonial-era payments remain protected.

Who actually owns Kenyan banks? This is budgeted corruption in action. One minute you’re in the statehouse making the rules, the next, you profit from a bank you set up. Local banks reap huge interest from domestic borrowing, a closed loop where taxpayers pay more, while a few politically connected players cash in. Concessional loans? Far cheaper, but ignored. The truth is, this system was built to enrich insiders and we need to follow the money to break that cycle. #budget #Accountability

Uhuru is telling govt to fix cost of living and Uchumi. He is also telling Kenyans there's no problem with eating campaign money because 'it's your money.' These two cannot co-exist at all. If politicians give you cash handouts it means they are stealing and that makes uchumi bad

Youth unemployment in Kenya is sitting at 67%. Not a statistic. A generation. While this government tours the world attending summits and signing deals, our young people cannot find dignified work. A President who cannot put food on the table of his citizens has no business hosting international banquets.

In the year 2013 immediately after Uhuru win he appointed Matiang'i as ICT CS. In Nairobi we had a governor by the name Evans Kidero. To celebrate the Kenya @ 50 they decided to install Camera's across CBD for a whooping 437 Million... To this day those Camera's have never worked... Kidero also has corruption cases dating all the way from 2014. The Kenyan judiciary and lately ODPP have ensured he enjoys the loot since he is politically connected. What does Matiang'i have to say about that wastage??

“As the private sector, we are partners with the Government. One of our strongest submissions today is that Government should seriously consider our proposal to reduce Pay As You Earn (PAYE) by 5% across all tax bands, releasing KES 28.1 billion back into the economy.” — Raimond Molenje, CEO, Kenya Bankers Association #BeyondBanking

If you are an observant person, A man who is keen, and concerned about his consciousness, You will realise something unusual is happening, There is a silent shift going on, We are moving from an OWNERSHIP ECONOMY to a SUBSCRIPTION ECONOMY. In a subscription economy, you own nothing, but you pay for goods and services which you consume, For example, Back in the 90s, We bought and owned music hardware like cassettes and discs, This ensured that the music hardware was yours and nobody would charge you a recurring monthly fee to play music, We owned newspapers and kept them, We bought and owned books, We owned letters written to us, We bought, and claimed ownership, But this is changing, and it is concerning, In a subscription economy, you own nothing, but you pay for it. MKOPA phones and Electric bikes are examples of how we have lost ownership of what we have bought. It will reach a time where, • You won't make a call, unless you subscribe to a calling service, on top of buying airtime, • You won't send an email unless you subscribe, or you will lose all your emails, • You won't listen to music unless you pay a monthly subscription fee for streaming, • You won't send a text or a WhatsApp message unless you subscribe to a monthly plan, or get used to annoying advertisements, • You won't cook food unless you pay for a monthly gas subscription plan or pay double for electricity, • You won't drink clean water unless you subscribe to a monthly water delivery plan. Ultimately, you won't own land or a house or a cow, You will own nothing, and you will never be happy. You will become a slave of the subscription economy. That day is coming. If you are wise, • Go to a rural area, • Own land, • Get solar, • Sink a borehole, • Keep poultry, cows, goats and sheep, • Grow your food. Don't sit in the city like sheep. Freedom will be given to those who will defeat the subscription economy. WAKE UP! #ManDay

Hey look, the same people who were lying to you on week 1 of this war are still lying on week 12

🚨After receiving a briefing from a Senior TRUMP Administration Official on the status of the Iran negotiations (someone in the know & not just speculating), I can tell you the following: -USA IS NOT GIVING IRANIANS MONEY FOR NOTHING. All speculation and propaganda to the contrary is false. Some hardline elements of Iran’s govt (IRGC) have pushed fake stories & propaganda to try to kill this negotiation. -Iran deal is NOT done (95%, but still haggling over some language). No deal being signed today. May be a few more days before this is done. -Iran will NOT get any money or sanctions relief up front. -Iran must turn over nuclear stockpile to get anything. USA position is that failure to meet deal commitments means Iran gets nothing. -Long term USA objective is preventing Iran from having nuclear weapon. -Initial deal point is to re-establish free flow of commerce by reopening Strait of Hormuz. Deal should have 2 phases: Step 1 - Open Strait of Hormuz. Give world economy breathing room. Iran agrees to give up enriched uranium. Step 2 - Get the nuclear material turned over. Only then can Iran get sanctions relief. Bottom line: goal is to make a deal that lowers costs for Americans, calms world energy markets, and guarantees that Iranians cannot have a nuclear weapon over the long term. We aren’t there yet. Iran takes forever to get you a response on even small things. But we are close although it still could be a few days. “If we get what we are demanding, this is going to be a historic deal,” SAO says. SAO sounds prepared to do no deal at all if all Iran will do is a “bad deal.” SAO admits deal could fall apart yet. But if a deal is reached, SAO expects very senior USA admin officials to take part in a signing ceremony of some sort. Iran has agreed in principle to the framework but there are still a couple points USA isn’t satisfied with. 95% done. But literally changing words sometimes requires days in Iran’s system. Haggling over language. But USA feels like we have a commitment on nuclear stockpile and on opening Strait of Hormuz. If IRAN doesn’t deliver on commitments, they get nothing. “Iran’s ability to project power is a lot more limited than it was two months ago,” SAO says. “Their industrial base for building ballistic missiles has been substantially destroyed.”
