Ik had 21% groei verwacht bij $ATS.VI gezien hun outlook, er kwam een groeiversnelling tot 33% in Q4, al was dit mede door currency effects. Ongeloofelijk dit had ik niet kunnen voorspellen. Ook prachtige outlook, beter dan verwacht. Het aandeel is intussen meer dan 1000% gestegen sinds zijn dieptepunt vorig jaar. Lange termijn aandeelhouders die moeilijke dagen moesten trotseren worden nu beloond. Ze plannen een verdere capaciteitsuitbreiding om aan AI vraag te kunnen voldoen. Als aandeelhouder die door een erg moeilijk 2022-2024 doorheen moest ben ik erg blij dat de buy&hold strategie zijn vruchten afwerpt.

Hoe werkt dat nu precies? Hoe moet ik nu in hemelsnaam nog in slaap vallen?

The most difficult part of trading was learning to GTFO when your thesis isn't working. I went into $MU as I thought the pullback might be over but this morning early acton in Semi told me I was wrong. I immediately put a breakeven stop when $MU rolled from high 680s to $683. Never hold a stock because you "hope" to make money or you "want to take a profit". That will inevitably lead to you taking a huge loss.

I see a lot of stupid takes on the so called "bottlenecks" and micro-cap stocks. Just because a stock's market cap is 50-100m it doesn't mean it's cheap, it's just small. If the p/e is for example 100, while revenue is growing 10% per year, it's not cheap, it's just a micro cap.

I want to be honest with you guys. I’ve recently rotated 1/3 of my $ENVX shares in $MU. Glad I did it. I’ve noticed real opportunity cost for me is not the money... It is my brain that I have lent out for too long. I still have so much to learn about the stock market in general, and by zooming in on Enovix, I have missed quite a bit of that 🤓🧠 (The photo is of a small statue “Fonske” from my city, Leuven 🇧🇪)

Waarom ben ik (nog) niet overtuigd van $MELI ? (Bulls krijgen wel de kans mij van het tegendeel te overtuigen) Margins. Ja het is voor te investeren in groei maar zelfs Amazon die al 25 jaar investeerd in groei heeft maar 6.9% operating margin op zijn North America business en daar heeft hij weinig concurrentie. Op international retail heeft Amazon zelfs maar 2.9% margins. #Mercadolibre heeft veel concurrentie in de Zuid Amerikaanse markt, zullen ze dat ooit kunnen omzetten naar een competitief voordeel waardoor ze de margins kunnen verhogen? Ik weet het niet ik vrees zodra dat ze voor winst gaan dat dit ten koste zal gaan van hun marktaandeel. Je ziet dit ook in China bijvoorbeeld waar door de race to the bottom van Online Marketplaces er eigenlijk geen winst te rapen valt. Ze zijn ook wel Fintech maar hoe kwailitatief zijn bijvoorbeeld de leningen die ze verstrekken in Zuid Amerika? Default rates zijn allesinds vrik hoog. Eigenlijk kopen ze zo gewoon hun eigen groei. Een tweede probleem is zijn Zuid Amerikaanse bedrijven bereid om ook voor shareholder returns te voorzien. Dat betekend Buybacks en Dividenden. Veel emerging markets houden alle winst binnen het bedrijf. Ik zit wel in Kazachstan omdat daar een sterke Westerse mindset heerst van shareholders return: buybacks en/of dividenden. Je weet dus dat je ook iets terug zal krijgen als aandeelhouder. Over het algemeen vermijd ik geld te steken in een individueel aandeel zonder een goede shareholder mindset dus. $MELI deed tot nu toe het omgekeerde: ze hebben wel wat buybacks gedaan maar historisch gezien toch meer gedilute. Ik zal dus een bedrijf dat "maar" 20% groeit maar wel een sterke moat heeft en shareholders minset verkiezen boven 30-40% groei. Geen dillution, shareholders return en hoge margins (=moat). Wie overtuigd mij van het tegendeeel?

This $TGEN reports next week. I am currently up well over 100% after I have taken some gains this month on some shares I added in the high $2.80 but I am still riding this original position and will ride through EPS. Lots of options activity this past few weeks as well as steady buying and 2 analyst initiations. Feels like something is brewing!

$CGEH thoughts. Maybe someone can explain something to me... why did the Part One of the $CGEH report get 329K Impressions and the Part Two get only 24K? What is striking to me is the Part Two has all the valuation sensitivities and the logic behind every input assumption. I even double penalized $CGEH's valuation with the following assumption: 1) Subtracted the Monarch Series A Pref from the Equity Value AND 2) I even used a fully diluted share count of 50M shares (instead of 35M shares, I even bold/underlined it for everyone to catch this), which means that every scenario I computed is likely understating the target price valuation scenarios. See the attached table. This is what I mean when I say this is a Deep Value stock, nobody cares about the actual models and numbers, people seem to be superficially scanning headlines and making an off the cuff decision regarding if $CGEH is part of the AI Power ecosystem, or not. Anyways, not investment advice, do your own due diligence. Know what you own. Part Two linked below which has three variants of model valuation sensitivities.
