@puke_in_aid @sola_chad You're thinking of the flesh, that's why your logic is of the flesh. God is a spirit: when all, "flesh" died the innocent went straight to the Lord, the guilty went straight to hell. When your loved one's die are they just in the dirt to you?

@CatholicDrip___ The Bible by itself gives a very clear road map to salvation, and eternal life. Trust in Jesus Christ alone, to save you, nothing else, because there is nothing else that can save you.

Christ didn’t just leave us a map He gave us a Church to teach, guide, and preserve the faith. The Catholic Church is the guide. The Bible is one of its greatest treasures💧

@CatholicDrip___ Your mistake is labeling everyone Protestants; the Prot's came out of the CC. There is a large group of believers who have only the bible as their authority and were never part of the CC. Any denomination that still has any of the CC teachings, are Prot's.

@MJDeLaWho What system is that? I would stick with one that teaches truth about being saved by Jesus alone and how we have a gift of eternal life no one can take away. At salvation, we are new creatures, the old man, and the new: the old man is flesh and is what sins: not the new man 1Jn3:9

@tyromper Sorry it's small. Only God can give you salvation; he gives it as a gift: when he says you have it, he means he gave it to you at the moment you believed, eternal means forever, if you could lose it, it wouldn't be eternal.

Christians only: Can you LOSE SALVATION? If at one point in your life you were ALL-IN, on-fire, accepted & surrendered to Jesus & asked Him into your heart..... Can you later in life LOSE salvation? Or, once you are saved are you always saved? I truly don't know this & see a lot of differing views on it.
