The #Pirates have played the toughest schedule in baseball so far according to ESPN and are 4 games over .500...not bad.

Crazy stat of the day: The #Pirates earned their 21st win of the season Thursday in Arizona.
It took them until May 28th to do it last season...oddly enough, also on the road in Arizona. I'm sure @JMackey_PGH can break down how insanely rare that is. #letsgobucs

Not buying this...#Cubs have, to their credit, taken advantage of a VERY soft schedule. Only 4 of their last 8 series have been against winning teams. And they dropped two of those series (vs. #Pirates & #Dodgers)

It is with a heavy heart that we relay the news of the passing of legendary Pirates and National Baseball Hall of Famer, Bill Mazeroski.
Maz was a 7-time All-Star who hit the greatest home run in baseball history. He was a beloved member of the Pirates family and he will be deeply missed.
