Every successful civilisation in history has been built on one simple foundation: Natural Law. The belief that there exists a moral order higher than government. A sense of right and wrong that no parliament or court can vote out of existence. Concepts like justice, fairness, reciprocity, and personal freedom are not granted by the state — they exist independently of it. Modern governments have quietly abandoned this principle. They now operate under legal positivism — the idea that whatever the government declares to be law, is law. No higher moral standard required. This is not progress. It is regression. When a society severs itself from natural law, it loses its moral legitimacy. The people eventually stop believing the system is just. Once that belief collapses, no amount of regulation, surveillance, or force can truly hold the society together. History is very clear on this point. Every empire that rejected natural law in favour of raw state power eventually rotted from within. We are repeating the same mistake, just with better technology. A civilisation that no longer recognises any authority above the state is a civilisation that has already begun its decline.
