The eyes of the world were on Scottish football this weekend. The title race captivated a global audience as it all came down to a final showdown. Yet even with the world watching on, Celtic couldn’t help but show themselves for what they are. Their fans violently attacked players and staff of their opponents - and not for the first time. This only happens because of the culture of unaccountability both within the SPL, who allow Celtic to act with impunity, and the Celtic Football Club themselves, who would rather celebrate thuggery by their fans instead of tackle it. Celtic as a club, as a fan base, and as an institution, are a perpetual embarrassment to Scotland and to football. Constantly bringing the beautiful game into disrepute.

During Covid Celtic won a league title in the Boardroom and this time they won the league in the VAR room. Hearts cheated out of the title.

Rules say Hearts should be given the title after what happened before the final whistle was blown. However, zero chance this SPFL has the spine to implement this decision.

If Shankland was assaulted by fans before the final whistle then that is new territory. And if that factored in to Don Robertson's decision to end the game without a restart when there was still seconds to be played out then that is material. And listen, if we can play league cup finals the season after they were meant to be played, and hand titles out for seasons that weren't even completed, then classing this game a 3-0 win to Hearts on grounds of abandonment shouldn't be a push. I think Hearts will take this further.

Scandalous that this was given as a Falkirk penalty, really poor decision and not a hard one for VAR to correct.

So on Celtic v Hearts. Serious point. When Celtic's third goal goes in there are clearly 30 seconds of the match remaining. So the game has to restart. But it didn't. The game had to be abandoned because of the actions of the Celtic fans. Hearts players were assaulted. So in any normal circumstances surely that would mean the awarding of a 3-0 win to Hearts.

As far as I'm concerned Hearts have won this league title. One of the most disgraceful decisions in football history has handed the title to Celtic Hearts should not stand for it and proceed as if they've won it

No one within the footballing world recognises this as a legitimate title win. No one.

A technical point, but one of substance. That match wasn’t finished. It was abandoned due to the vile club’s fans invading pitch & attacking Hearts players. Naturally, the SFA will just gloss over that on behalf of their club, but if rules were properly applied, there would be consequences.
