“If it’s not a boy, then it’s abortion.” A US rapper’s sick gender reveal comment has exposed an ugly truth Australia can no longer ignore. New research from Edith Cowan University suggests sex-selection abortion may already be happening here — with unborn girls targeted simply because they are female. NSW MPs now face a choice: ban gendercide or stay silent while Australia’s abortion laws allow babies to be aborted for any reason, right up to birth. Family First is backing John Ruddick’s bill to stop sex-selection abortion. Every child — boy or girl — deserves equal dignity and protection. 👇 MEDIA RELEASE “If it’s not a boy, then it’s abortion,” says US rapper as NSW debates sex-selection Family First National Director and NSW Legislative Council candidate Lyle Shelton has urged NSW parliamentarians to support an upcoming bill by John Ruddick to ban sex-selection abortion, warning Australia must not tolerate the killing of unborn children simply because they are girls. Mr Shelton’s comments come after outrage over remarks by controversial US rapper Daniel Hernandez, known as his stage name "Tekashi 6ix9ine, during a livestreamed gender reveal party where he said: “If it’s not a boy, then it’s abortion.” “This is a vile and shocking statement, but it exposes an ugly reality that abortion is increasingly being used as a tool of gender discrimination,” Mr Shelton said. “No civilised society should allow unborn baby girls to be killed simply because someone wanted a boy or vice-versa. “Sadly, Australia’s extreme abortion laws also make sex-selection abortion possible right up to birth.” Mr Shelton pointed to new research from Edith Cowan University which found evidence of male-biased birth imbalances in some Australian communities, consistent with sex-selective abortion practices. The ECU study found that among some migrant populations, birth ratios for third-born children after two daughters were significantly skewed towards boys, raising concerns that prenatal sex determination followed by abortion may be occurring in Australia. “This research demolishes the claim that sex-selection abortion is not happening here,” Mr Shelton said. “Parliamentarians cannot pretend this is merely a problem overseas. “When the law permits abortion for any reason, right through pregnancy, it inevitably opens the door to aborting children because of their sex.” Mr Shelton said girls deserved protection before birth just as much as after birth. “A society that claims to champion women’s rights cannot remain silent when unborn girls are targeted for destruction simply because they are female.” Mr Shelton urged people to support the upcoming Sydney Rally for Life backing Mr Ruddick’s bill. “Family First encourages all people of goodwill to attend the Sydney Rally for Life and send a clear message to NSW MPs that gendercide has no place in Australia,” he said. “This is not about left or right politics. It is about whether we are prepared to say that every child — boy or girl — has equal dignity and equal worth.” media@familyfirstparty.au

@NameBasedHandle @TobiSkovron So many (incorrect) assumptions. Didn't fail, it is still there and doing well. Fancy using my profile to make further assumptions when it only lists a few things I am wanting to highlight. Still working very hard. Hint: uni can be part-time 😉

@RobynNoble_13 @TobiSkovron Oh wow the 60 year old student once had a bottle shop, how avant garde. Wonder why it failed 🤔. Maybe someone didn't know how to run a business because they have been sheltered? Then they went back to the handout gravy train? Stop blugging with our tax money loser.

Hey Jim & Albo, Keep your hands off my business. You weren’t there for the sleepless nights, the stress, the risk, or the moments where everything was on the line. I built this in the dark. You don’t get to show up at the finish line with your hand out. Not one cent. You didn’t build it. You didn’t back it. You’re not entitled to it. Get fucked.

@RobynNoble_13 @TobiSkovron 60 year old student. Sounds like someone is used to handouts 🤣. How is that progressive feedback loop working out for you? In the real world your opinions do not matter. You would have been told that if you ever broadened your horizons missy.

@RobynNoble_13 @TobiSkovron Obviously you've never had your own business. You put your own capital at risk, employ people, pay taxes and hope there is a reward at the end. Its a long hard struggle for the risks you take.

One Nation says: Enough is enough. Mass migration must be stopped to protect the Australian way of life. Last night's budget showed that Labor's betrayal continues. 55,000 extra migrants have been added to the forecast while Australians are living in tents. Labor’s migration madness is destroying the Australian dream. We don't have the houses, we don't have the infrastructure.

@Rizzabeast 80% of property investment loans go to the 2 million Australians who ALREADY HAVE PROPERTY INVESTMENTS! The remaining 22 million Australians pay for them to keep negative gearing.

@stableshaman 24 million Australians, only 2 million own more than 1 property. 80% of last year's investment loans went to those who already have investments and negative gearing. Taxpayers covering their 'losses', pushing up house prices and making it harder for Gen Z

Well done @AngusTaylorMP it’s time to FIGHT LIKE HELL. Well done particularly on giving people hope That was an excellent Budget Reply. I really liked: - Capping immigration, and deporting 70,000 overstayers - A fairer go for young Australians - Keeping Coal-fired power plants, increasing onshore fuel capacity and building new refineries (yay!) - Raising Defence Spending to 3% of GDP (long overdue!) - The FUTURE GENERATIONS FUND to fight debt - Lifting the Nuclear Ban!!! - AXING Labor’s TOXIC TAXES. Making sure taxes paid by hardworking Australians go towards Australians - Indexing taxation. Labor’s reckless spending has seen interest rates go up 15 times so this would be amazing - “Mass migration is changing Australia for the worse. Labor bringing 2 million too many too quickly”. Linking it to housing is critical - AXING HANDOUTS for NON CITIZENS. About time! - Lifting the Instant Asset write off to $50K - “Future Made in Australia in truth is a future made abroad, $18 billion is in the Budget net zero spending. Net Zero under the Coalition WILL GO” Thank goodness I really like this too - Labor puts Australians second and the Coalition will put Australians first Onwards

This sounds like a good move. Angus Taylor wants to limit welfare handouts to Australian citizens. The Opposition Leader says the current system is “unfair”. Listen to the details HERE. 🎧omny.fm/shows/ben-ford…🎧

Angus Taylor has outlined the biggest difference in policy direction between the Coalition and Labor in years. And good on him for doing it. In his own words, “the fight starts tonight.”

The budget will come as a crushing blow for millions of hardworking Aussies. Increasing numbers of voters are rightly losing faith in this failing Labor Government, but they’re turning to One Nation, not the Coalition parties that also have a woeful record when it comes to cutting taxes and easing the cost of living for everyday Aussies. This budget should have been dedicated to easing the burden on those struggling, but it has fallen flat on its face. Only One Nation has the policies and the determination to slash the cost of living. One Nation is committed to scrapping net zero, cutting taxes, and slashing immigration. Actions that, if taken together, would have a dramatic effect.
