@RapSheet any news on an announcement date on schedule release??? Why wasn’t there an announcement during the Draft like last year??

Now that waiting on the schedule release has started, something I looked in to. The Bengals and Reds don’t schedule home games on the same day. The first NFL Sunday is September 13th. The Reds are in Milwaukee. If the Bengals open on Sunday, home opener is in play.

The Arizona Cardinals have kicked off Round 3 by picking Miami QB Carson Beck. They had interest in Ty Simpson, who was taken at 13 by the Rams yesterday. With Jacoby Brissett as their starter and Gardner Minshew backing him up, they had to come out of this draft with a QB.

SLATER SCOOP: Falcons' James Pearce Jr. will have all of his charges dismissed if he completes a program offered to him by the state of Florida, I've learned. While details are still being worked out, Pearce Jr. would have to attend therapy sessions and stay out of trouble over a six-month period. His attorney, Yale Sanford, tells me the victim, Rickea Jackson, and the police officers in this case spoke to the state attorney's office and agreed to this as well.

@gregauman I know this is an estimation from Spotrac but do you think YaYa Diaby play so far warrants this contract? Seems a bit steep especially with all pending FA Bucs have at seasons end. I would look to trade Diaby and pick up a 3rd round.

@gregauman I understand that but the guys who are currently on Bucs roster who will be FA in 2027 & 2028 to me will take on higher priority then Diaby Mayfield, Bucky, Tykee, Mauch, McMillan, Kancey, Godwin (if you pick up $22M club option), Winfield Jr.

@gregauman If Mesidor is there at #15 and then double dip at #46 w/ R Mason Thomas - you got team control for 4 guys (Mesidor, Thomas, Walker & Braswell). Got to pay.
