Lo que pretendía ser un testimonio de supervivencia tras haber sufrido un acoso escolar y docente que le marcaría de por vida acabó siendo una prueba de que el acoso escolar mata. Tras realizar este trabajo autobiográfico para el Bachillerato Dual Americano que cursaba online Kira volvió a ser blanco de nuevas burlas por su maquillaje. Esas burlas se sumaban a las que ya llevaba años recibiendo por su tono de voz. Todas ellas quedaron confirmadas tras la investigación policial, así como el correo electrónico que Kira recibió ocho días después de su muerte con el mensaje “muere” y que le había enviado un compañero de clase. El colegio de Kira nunca ha querido condenar la violencia en sus aulas y en sus despachos a pesar del demoledor informe del Defensor del Pueblo que confirmaba nuestras denuncias y la inacción y vulneración de los derechos de Kira por parte del Manyanet Sant Andreu. Y no lo ha hecho porque el acoso escolar no es delito en España y la impunidad de la que disfrutan los agresores y quienes les protegen les permite normalizar lo que a nuestra hija Kira y a miles de otras víctimas de acoso escolar les cuesta la vida o la salud mental. Nuestra lucha ahora es dar voz a todas las esas víctimas que han sido silenciadas y concienciar a la sociedad de la necesidad de una ley que garantice la seguridad física y moral de los menores en los centros educativos, con consecuencias legales para quien conscientemente la incumpla, el reconocimiento público y reparación del daño de la víctima y la reconducción de los agresores desde el primer episodio de violencia.                         Kira was a 15-year-old student at the Manyanet Sant Andreu school in Barcelona. What was intended to be a testimony of survival after being bullied at school, which affected her whole life, ended up as a proof that bullying kills. After doing this autobiographical assignment for the American Dual Diploma that she was taking online Kira was mocked again, this time for her makeup. This added to years of teasing about her voice. All of this was confirmed after the police investigation, as well as the email that Kira received eight days after her death with the text message “DIE" sent by a classmate. Kira's school has never wanted to condemn violence within its walls despite the report of the Ombudsman that confirmed our complaints and the inaction and violation of Kira's rights at the Manyanet Sant Andreu school. They have not done so because bullying is not a crime in Spain and the impunity enjoyed by bullies and those who protect them allows them to normalize violence against thousands of bullying victims, including our daughter Kira. Our fight now is to give voice to all those victims who have been silenced and make society aware that we need a law that guarantees the safety and welfare of students with legal consequences for those who consciously fail to comply with it, public and legal reparation for the victims and redirection of bullying behavior when it starts.
