Gary Neville: ''Bruno’s assist record flatters to deceive. Too many of those passes are routine balls before a spectacular finish. If Kevin De Bruyne had played the full season, he would have been Best of the Season, this record wouldn’t even exist. Bruno is United’s stat-padding talisman, but De Bruyne is football’s true architect. The obsession with numbers is killing the art of midfield play — we’re rewarding quantity over quality. Bruno racks up figures because United funnel everything through him, not because he’s redefining creativity. He’s a volume player, not a visionary. De Bruyne, on the other hand, doesn’t just create chances — he dictates the rhythm of games, he sees passes nobody else even imagines, and he elevates the entire team’s level. That’s the difference: Bruno’s record looks great on paper, but football isn’t played on spreadsheets. If you want to talk about genuine artistry, intelligence, and influence, De Bruyne is miles ahead. Bruno’s achievement is impressive, but let’s not confuse efficiency with genius''.

Your rich friend passes on. He has a wife, kids and an extended family. After his burial, you're invited by his lawyer to the reading of his will. You don't think much about it, because you assume you were invited to give moral support to his family. After the entire family is settled, the lawyer begins reading the content of the will. But it is very short & brief. Your rich friend left you his entire fortune. Over $20 million in assets & liquidity. He does not leave a penny for his wife, kids or even family. Everything goes to you. What will be your reaction/next move?

“I cannot leave my husband for any reason. Because of him, all my family member abánd0ned me. Me and my husband Waka from a long place to Abuja. I can use bible to swèár untop am. We've been h0melèss since January and we're sleeping outside but I'll never leave my husband. We barely see food to eat and people m0ck and laugh at us as if we're nothing. My grandma chàsed me out of the house because I refused to get married to another man. He was not this poor when I got pregnant for him but regardless, I have decided to stay with him. We've been praying and I know God will come through for us” — Woman has moved many social media users after sharing her struggle with homelessness and poverty while insisting she would never abànd0n her husband despite their difficult condition.

Richard Oluwamayowa@Olaogun_

Hello @LCFC I’m Olaogun, a winger also played as a striker from Nigeria. I’ve spent the last 3 years training daily to get one shot at professional football. I’m not asking for a contract. I’m asking for 7 days on trial to show you what I can do. If I’m not good enough, I’ll walk away with no hard feelings. I’m fast, direct, and I work harder than anyone on the pitch. My highlights are here: @Olaogun9" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@Olaogun9 Thanks, Olaogun |

Welcome to Nigeria, Obowo Imo state. An old man like this asked this small girl out...a young nursing student by name Wendy and as a good girl that knows she came to school to study....she turned him down. At night, the man who is a vulcanizer went with his friends to where the girl lives...they took turn in r@ping her and during the struggle... the girl recognized one of them and even gave him a mark on the neck...then they decided to slit her throat, lock her door back quietly and left..... These monsters of men were captured yesterday... Government should just take them to court let the law speak on their behalf. Wishing them whatever they wished themselves.

PYTH JUST OPENED THE FLOODGATES. No campaign. No script. No “please post this exact talking point.” Just: 👉 Post anything Pyth-related. And make sure it's realistic 😀 Memes. Charts. Edits. Threads. Hot takes. Screen recordings. Degenerate shitposts. Replies. Fan art. Data dashboards. Random observations at 3AM. If it touches Pyth, it counts. That’s honestly what makes this different. Most ecosystems try to manufacture engagement with rigid campaigns and forced narratives. Pyth basically said: @PythNetwork “Cook whatever you want.” And that matters because the best crypto content has NEVER come from instructions. It comes from people genuinely obsessed with what they’re watching happen in real time. The funniest memes. The sharpest alpha. The weirdest edits. The most viral clips. The most insightful charts. All of it starts with people experimenting. This month isn’t about fitting into a template. It’s about showing what the Pyth community actually looks like when the leash comes off. Want to make a serious market structure thread? Do it. Want to post a cursed meme about latency wars and oracle dominance? Perfect. Want to clip a video, remix it, turn it into nonsense, and farm engagement? That counts too. Even replies matter. A lot of people underestimate this: communities aren’t built only by “big creators.” They’re built by thousands of small interactions happening every single day. One reply turns into a conversation. One meme becomes an inside joke. One chart gets quoted everywhere. One random post pulls a new person into the ecosystem. That’s how culture compounds. And honestly? Pyth has one of the most creative communities in crypto when people are allowed to freestyle. So for the rest of the month: Post the analysis. Post the chaos. Post the experiments. Post the unhinged ideas. Just make it original. Make it fun. Make it YOU. Open Month is live. Cook accordingly.

A very terrifying move... A very bad move.
Àlúbàríkà 🇳🇬@Iyoaiye_

TINUBU'S NEW POLICY FOR UNIVERSITIES WILL MAKE THEM TO WAKE UP AND THINK LIKE A BUSINESS. Tinubu Government Directs Universities to Fund Lecturers’ Allowances Internally — Nigerians Fear Tuition Hikes. But There’s a Bigger Economic Picture. The Federal Government has now directed public universities to begin paying the new Consolidated Academic Tools Allowance (CATA) for lecturers. Using internally generated revenue while waiting for full budget implementation. Many students are already panicking about possible tuition increases. And honestly, their fears are understandable. The allowance is massive: • Graduate Assistants — over ₦1 million yearly. • Senior lecturers and professors — over ₦3 million yearly. • Tax-free funding for research, books, software, journals, conferences, and fieldwork. But here is the main koko... For decades, Nigerian universities depended almost entirely on Abuja allocations while operating like non-business entities. You know I am an advocate of government thinking like a business? Tinubu is doing the right thing. The world changed. Today: • American universities make billions from patents, sports, research grants, technology, alumni donations, and international students. • Chinese universities are directly linked to manufacturing and industrial growth. • Singapore transformed universities into innovation centers feeding the economy. • South Korea tied universities to national technology development. Nigeria cannot continue funding 21st-century education with a 1970s economic structure. This policy may look harsh now, but the Tinubu administration appears to be pushing universities toward economic productivity instead of total federal dependence. Universities sit on thousands of hectares of land, research talent, intellectual property, consultancies, agricultural projects, technology hubs, medical services, and business opportunities — yet many generate very little revenue. The government’s argument is simple: “If lecturers are to receive globally competitive research and academic support allowances, institutions themselves must begin creating value.” That's simple. Painful? Yes. Risky? Yes. But economically, this is part of a wider reform agenda shifting Nigeria from a consumption economy to a productivity economy. The danger, however, is this: If university management simply transfers the burden to poor students through endless “sundry charges,” then the policy could worsen inequality and reduce access to education. That is where leadership matters. Universities must now become innovative: • commercialize research • partner industries • attract private endowments • monetize innovations • expand professional programs • improve agricultural and technology ventures • reduce corruption and waste A university should not only produce job seekers. A university should become an economic engine. This is how China built industrial power. This is how America dominates technology. This is how Asian nations used education to create wealth. Nigeria is now entering that difficult transition stage where institutions are being forced to survive beyond federal oil money. The real question is: Will Nigerian universities reform and innovate Or simply increase school fees and punish students? Ugoji Maximillian
