@SynthPotato This is what gaming is all about. Somewhere along the line we forgot to keep making things fun instead of over optimizing.

@YourDocGoku You can get ketones from plenty of other sources over sardines. Eating too many sardines will just give you arsenic poisoning.
English

If your parent is showing signs of Alzheimer's and you want to do something about it, start with sardines.
They’re packed with fat and protein - in the exact ratio your body needs to produce abundant ketones FAST.
Anyone with Alzheimer’s has brain cells that are insulin resistant. It can no longer efficiently pull glucose from the bloodstream for fuel.
Even though glucose is available, the insulin delivery system is broken.
Brain cells are starving and can no longer power themselves properly, causing brain fog, memory loss, cognitive decline, and even depression.
Ketones are an alternative source of fuel that bypasses this broken system entirely.
They cross the blood-brain barrier without needing insulin, feeding your brain cells directly.
They produce less cellular waste than glucose.
And even act as natural antioxidants exactly where your brain needs them most.
Dr. Annette Bosworth has coached thousands of patients and uses this method to kickstart a ketogenic state fast.
Here's her protocol:
Eat only sardines for 3 days (with no eating window)
Choose sardines packed in oil
Within 48-72 hours, most people are producing abundant ketones.
Dr. Bosworth had a 41-year-old Down syndrome patient with Alzheimer's.
Three weeks on keto, she spoke her first three-syllable word ever—something her brain had never been capable of before.

@Pirat_Nation I actually switched to mouse and keyboard today from a playstation controller just to try it, and like it better. You just can't beat the precision that mouse and keyboard offers over controller.

@TukiFromKL People will shit on anything that comes from ai from here on out. It will just be the normal immediate reaction to ignore.

🚨 Everyone is hating on Nvidia's DLSS 5. I think they're all wrong.
> DLSS 1 got destroyed.. It became the standard.
> RTX got clowned.. It became the standard.
> Ray tracing got mocked.. It became the standard.
Every time Nvidia ships something new, gamers riot. Every time, two years later, they can't live without it..
8,000 people liked a reply saying "this looks horrifically bad." The same people will pre-order the GPU that runs it..
Nvidia didn't become a $3 trillion company by listening to reply guys... They became one by being right before everyone else was ready.
Hate it now. Beg for it later. That's the Nvidia cycle.

@newstart_2024 Land is going to be the most important investment for everyone. When goods, labor, and building materials are lowered you will still need to own the land to build on. When no one is working, pricing is going to be interesting.

Elon Musk just gave retirement planning the most radical advice possible:
“Don’t worry about squirreling money away for retirement in 10 or 20 years — it won’t matter.
You won’t need to save for retirement.”
His reasoning (from the same conversation):
We’re already in the singularity — “the event horizon” where prediction breaks down.
The accelerating timeline makes long-term saving irrelevant.
Services, homes, healthcare, entertainment — abundance will be so extreme that the old rules vanish.
Peter Diamandis: “The way this unfolds is fundamentally impossible to predict because of self-improvement of the AI and the accelerating timeline.”
Elon: “We’re in this beautiful sweet spot… like being at the top of the roller coaster about to drop. I don’t just have courtside seats — I’m on the court.”
If saving for retirement becomes pointless in the next 10–20 years because we’re already past the event horizon…
what’s the first thing you’d change about how you live right now?

@RepNancyMace Every single "survivor" that was paraded around in the senate hearing by the dems needs to be investigated. All of this stinks.
English

@RepNancyMace I appreciate the hard work behind the scenes. It's nice to know someone in the government actually cares about the people and not themselves.
English

I appreciate the urgency of those telling me to name names or "STFU," and believe me, I share it.
But I'm doing this the responsible way by thoroughly vetting every individual before naming them publicly. Not everyone on my list is an alleged predator. Some are witnesses. Some are survivors whose names I need to ensure are protected, not exposed. I’m just one person with a very small staff.
Telling a fellow survivor to rush this process won't make it move any faster. But I promise you, very soon.
Here's where things stand:
• Letter sent to the DOJ yesterday about missing documents pulled down from their website
• SDNY Monday since their documents are still redacted particularly for the names of co-conspirators
• CIA Tuesday
The CIA is in possession of information I believe the public has every right to see.
I also want to be clear: I love life.

@IterIntellectus The question I'm faced with is how is this going to effect the every day family? Energy production at this scale and a robotics work force worldwide changes everyday life for everyone. How will housing and land costs be handled when no one works?

i dont think people understand what the xAI all-hands means:
if spacex starts deploying orbital solar-powered compute at the rates elon said, it would more or less look like this:
year 1: 100 GW. roughly 1% of earth's total energy capacity
year 2: 300 GW cumulative. 3% of earth
year 3: 700 GW. 8%
year 4: 1.5 TW. 17%
year 5: 3.1 TW. a third of earth's entire grid
year 10: 39 TW. 4x every power plant on the planet combined
between year 10 and year 13 autonomous lunar factories come online
year 13: 144 TW. 16x earth.
mass driver construction accelerates
year 15: 500 TW. 56x earth.
between year 15 and year 20 mass driver operational, launching AI satellites from the moon one after another
year 20: 16,000 TW. 1,778x earth
year 30: 16,000,000 TW. 1.8 million x earth
this is the conversion of the solar system into a compute substrate. the rockets, the satellites, the lunar factories, the mass driver, the AI running on all of it, all done by the same dude on a civilizational run
xAI@xai
Since xAI was formed just 30 months ago, the small and talented team has made remarkable progress. The future has never looked more exciting!

For those unaware, SpaceX has already shifted focus to building a self-growing city on the Moon, as we can potentially achieve that in less than 10 years, whereas Mars would take 20+ years.
The mission of SpaceX remains the same: extend consciousness and life as we know it to the stars.
It is only possible to travel to Mars when the planets align every 26 months (six month trip time), whereas we can launch to the Moon every 10 days (2 day trip time). This means we can iterate much faster to complete a Moon city than a Mars city.
That said, SpaceX will also strive to build a Mars city and begin doing so in about 5 to 7 years, but the overriding priority is securing the future of civilization and the Moon is faster.

@elonmusk @niccruzpatane Tesla will be much much more than just a car company soon. Other companies creating better competitive cars won't even matter.

@GovTimWalz Remember that time you thought you'd be the Vice President of the United States? Instead your corruption has been exposed and you'll be switching out your suits for orange ones.

@SpencerAlthouse Hollywood people are disgusting. Please replace all of these weirdos with ai.

As I stated in a recent interview with IGN, Lords II is “a game made by adults, for adults”.
We’re making the game WE want to make. Pandering? No. But it shouldn’t come as a surprise that an adult-orientated experience is resonating with exactly that - adults.
Yes, a lot of the content will be 18+/mature. We’re not watering anything down. There’s plenty of other games that already offer a safer form of fantasy…
…but that isn’t us.

@SawyerMerritt I’m just waiting to see who’s going to be the first one to start asteroid mining.

Elon Musk on where people should invest:
"I don't really buy stocks. I don't look for things to invest in. I just try to build things and then there happens to be stock of the company that I built, but I don't have like a portfolio or anything; Google is gonna be pretty valuable in the future. They've laid the ground work for an immense amount of value creation from an AI standpoint. Nvidia is obvious at this point. There's an argument that companies that do AI and robotics, and maybe spaceflight, are going to be overwhelmingly almost all of the value."
