Emily McDonald says your brain waves sync up with the people you spend the most time around. McDonald is a neuroscientist with a PhD. She references studies showing that when two people are in conversation, their brain wave patterns begin to align. With best friends, the sync is so strong that researchers can see it on a brain scan. This is the reason close friends finish each other's sentences. Their brains are running on the same rhythm. McDonald says this also applies to who you follow online. The accounts you scroll every day are training your brain waves to match their patterns. Your feed isn't entertainment. It is neural conditioning. If the people in your physical and digital life are anxious or pessimistic, your brain is being trained into the same state. Curate your feed and your friends. They are rewiring you in real time. — Emily McDonald on the Codie Sanche's (@Codie_Sanchez) podcast PS: B2C health apps, SaaS, brand or info founders: We'll make 𝕏 your #1 organic acquisition channel in the next 90 days without you writing a single tweet. Dr. Robert Hurst told the Mayo Clinic leadership he could end heart attacks for his patients. Their response FROZE him. Hurst is a preventive cardiologist with 22 years of experience. He hasn't had a single patient suffer the most common type of heart attack since 2007. Not one. He brought his data to a meeting of 12 Mayo Clinic cardiology leaders, showed them the research and his own results, and told them they could stop bypass surgeries, stents, heart failure, and AFib for most of their patients. The room went silent for 20 seconds. Then his department chair finally spoke: "But isn't that how we make money?" The cardiologist who has prevented heart attacks for 18 straight years says the American medical system makes money from treating disease, not preventing it.

The FDA accidentally made peptides the most talked about topic in health. In 2023, they banned 19 peptides that doctors had been safely prescribing since 2014. No adverse events. No safety concerns. Just removed from the market. Dr. Alex Tatum was one of those doctors. His patients were getting real results from these compounds. Faster healing, better sleep, fat loss, improved fertility. Then overnight, his pharmacy told him they could no longer supply them. The official reason was lack of data. But these are natural compounds that cannot be patented. Every dollar spent on them was a dollar not going to pharmaceutical companies. The ban created the opposite of what it intended. Millions of people started searching for what was taken from them. Now the FDA is considering bringing 7 back this July.

Dorian Yates says doctors get 2 to 3 hours of nutrition training. Then they spend the rest of their careers giving diet advice. If you've ever taken nutrition advice from a doctor and felt like it didn't add up, your instinct was right. Yates says one afternoon of nutrition training is why his client's doctor gave him the exact opposite of what would actually fix the problem. His client had a fatty liver and a diabetic blood sugar reading. The doctor said stop eating fat. Yates put him on a low-carb diet with three 45-minute workouts a week. Within 30 days, his liver enzymes were back to normal, his blood sugar was out of the diabetic range, and he had lost 5 to 6 kilos. The actual cause of fatty liver is uncontrolled blood sugar from sugar and carbs. The doctor was treating the wrong thing entirely. — Dorian Yates (@Dorian_Yates) on the Huberman Lab (@hubermanlab) podcast PS: B2C health apps, SaaS, brand or info founders: We'll make 𝕏 your #1 organic acquisition channel in the next 90 days without you writing a single tweet. Chris Paul says you can become stressed just thinking about being stressed. He says the worst gut issues of his career weren't caused by food. They were caused by stress. What Paul does when he feels the stress loop starting: • Gets around his family • Takes a break from work and slows down • Resets his nervous system before it spirals • Stops trying to be everything for everybody He says trying to be everything for everybody is what runs you ragged. Most people are stuck in a loop of being stressed about being stressed, and their cortisol pays the price. The thing wrecking your gut is rarely on your plate. — Chris Paul on Dr. Mark Hyman's (@drmarkhyman) podcast PS: B2C health apps, SaaS, brand or info founders: If you want content just like this to turn 𝕏 into your #1 organic acquisition channel in the next 90 days... Dr. Stacy Sims says the only weight that protects women from Alzheimer's is the weight most women refuse to lift. Sims is one of the leading exercise physiologists studying sex differences in training. She's referencing a UK randomized control trial of 100,000 people that was just published last month. The exact protocol from the study: - Heavy load lifting at 80% of perceived max - 5 to 6 reps per set - Stimulates neural conductivity in the prefrontal cortex - Tested in adults over 60 Sims says moderate weights and higher rep ranges affect other parts of the brain. But for cognition specifically, the prefrontal cortex needs the heavy stimulus. If you've been doing 10 to 15 reps with light dumbbells for years, you've been building parts of your body that aren't your brain. — @drstacysims554 PS: B2C health apps, SaaS, brand or info founders: We'll make 𝕏 your #1 organic acquisition channel in the next 90 days without you writing a single tweet. Bryan Johnson takes 3 shots of olive oil every single day. One with every meal. He calls it the superfood of superfoods. He consumes it as part of his daily life: • 15 ml per shot • 45 ml total per day • 15% of daily calories from olive oil His team studied the best foods and therapies for health. Olive oil was one of the few of them. He drinks it straight before he eats. His olive oil is sourced from both hemispheres so it's always fresh, and every batch is third-party tested before it reaches him. Johnson is spending $1 million a year on his health. The cheapest thing he does is also one of the most effective. If the guy with the most aggressive longevity protocol on the planet starts every meal with a shot of olive oil, the cost of trying it is almost nothing. — Bryan Johnson (@bryan_johnson) on the TPBN (@TBPN) podcast

David Sinclair said: "You can reverse aging by 75% in 6 weeks… by reinstalling the "software" of the body so that it's young again." This idea sprouted when he proved in his first experiment that you can accelerate aging in mice: "We took two mice born on the same day—same age, same genetics. We 'scratched the CD' of one mouse, corrupting its software and accelerating its aging. The result was dramatic. One looked far older than its brother." He believed if you can give aging, you can also take it away. — @davidasinclair PS: B2C health apps, SaaS, brand or info founders: We'll help turn 𝕏 into your #1 organic acquisition channel in the next 90 days without you writing a single tweet. Max Marchione says a microdose of GLP-1 every 2 weeks is one of the single best things he does for his quality of life. Marchione is the founder of Superpower. Here's what he says it does for him: • Eliminates food noise • Reduces inflammation • Boosts focus and energy • Improves insulin sensitivity • Removes the need for self-discipline around eating GLP-1 made peptides mainstream. The same therapeutic approach is now being explored for inflammation, immune function, sleep, and injury recovery. — Max Marchione (@maxmarchione) on the Monitoring The Situation (@MTSlive) podcast PS: B2C health apps, SaaS, brand or info founders: We'll help turn 𝕏 into your #1 organic acquisition channel in the next 90 days without you writing a single tweet. Chong Xie has worked with martial artists in their 60s and 70s who move like cats. He referenced one Eastern martial artist in his 60s whose bone density tested at the level of someone in their 30s. His muscles hadn't degenerated. His body still moved with the agility of a young athlete. Xie says the reason was preserved fascia. Most adults start losing muscle mass after 40, especially in the posterior chain. The glutes and hamstrings go first. Xie says this happens because the fascial scaffolding holding those muscles in place has degenerated, not because of aging itself. What protects fascia as you age: - Daily mobility work - Vitamin C for collagen synthesis - Barefoot movement and grounding - Hydration to maintain fascial fluid properties Xie says your bones are suspended by fascia and your muscles sit on it. When the scaffold weakens, everything else follows. — Chong Xie on the Before School Podcast
