My dad, Herbert "Hunky" Matz, passed away on this date 11 years ago at the age of 100! He was my hero and moral compass. One of 10 children who grew up in East Baltimore.
He was inducted into the City College Hall of Fame in 2007.
I love you dad and miss you every day! ❤️

Some personal news. I have received a promotion to the rank of Marine Pilot. There are only 4 Marine Pilots in @BaltimoreFire. We are the full time operators of the John R. Frazier. This has taken years of hard work and earning my 100 ton @USCG license.
