'My job is to make sure it doesn't get to yes': Alberta Premier Smith on separation referendum. Her position couldn’t be any clearer. Anything she does on this matter, passed legislation, panels, MOUs, referenda, needs to be understood in that context. youtube.com/watch?v=GrARX8…

Carney and Smith are working OT to save each other's political career. There is no pipeline. There is no deal. The carbon tax goes up on April 1st. Food is more expensive. Gasoline is more expensive. Unemployment amongst the youth is 12%. Housing is unaffordable. Taxes are going up. Are you not seeing this?

The world is coming to Canada — not just for our resources, but for the trust and reliability that come with them. Few countries combine open access to global markets on both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts, while simultaneously powering the largest shared energy system in the world. We have what the world wants — and the stability the world needs. This is Canada’s path to becoming an energy superpower.

The “Pathways Alliance”carbon sucking machine is a ridiculous project. It’s not “capturing CO2” emissions. It’s sucking CO2 out of the air, depriving forests and farmlands of free growth generating fertilizer. It’s time to call bullshit on this whole stupid deal. No company will EVER invest in pipeline planning and engineering as long as the tanker ban remains in place making it ILLEGAL to take oil out of a pipeline and load it into a ship. Danielle has been lying to us about ending Ottawa’s throttling of Alberta Oil. Unl ss Carney passes a bill ending the Tanker Ban the only route to the west coast is the one that Scott Bessant said the US would welcome. If Danielle was a real negotiator she would walk from the table with Ottawa and travel to Washington through the door APP opened for her to the west coast of the USA.

And Justice Minister Mickey Amery reinforces what the Minister of Indigenous Relations had said. In the second quote, he was responding to a NDP MLA asking why the Minister of Indigenous Relations “supported letting a separation petition go forward that…violates treaty rights”.

@FreeAlbertaRob What private firm is on side knowing that bills C69 C48 are still in place, industrial carbon pricing is rising and Carney pretty much gave BC and US NGO Indigenous climate grifters a Veto over pipelines?

Enbridge CEO Says He’s Open to New West Coast Oil Pipeline news.bloomberglaw.com/environment-an…

Hodgson to Bloomberg "So that pipeline, the proponent of that's going to be the government of Alberta." Julie Fine "Your government supports a new oil pipeline to Canada's West Coast. But for that to happen, you've said that companies must build carbon capture in the oil sands." "You've set that April 15 deadline. Do you think you'll meet it?" Hodgson "We are in intense discussions right now." "I was talking with Premier Smith yesterday. I am confident we share a goal of building the biggest carbon capture project in the world." Curious to know which world leaders are asking Canada for this decarbonization in a time of crisis, other than crisis Carney? @JulieFineTX @timhodgsonmt @ABDanielleSmith
