The greatest gym advice you young guys will get is not from social media or YouTube. It’s from talking to older guys in the gym - preferably those in shape - who have been doing this a lot longer than you have. Some of the gym habits I use today were told to me 20 years ago.

Due to the cost of 10 year old pickups, I can throw a rock and get a Cascadia for almost nothing. That being said, I’ll mount a class 4 hitch on the rear for the camper, remove the 5th wheel, install a traditional 8’ pickup bed, and this will be my new daily driver.

If you are a professional body builder, every small details matter. You want every grain of nutrition which goes to your body to be fully utilised. These guys are already on PEDs so they want it to get the best out of it. All of their meal have a purpose and every gram of food is thus calculated

Why do so many athletes weigh and track their food so precisely? Been watching some training videos lately and noticed a ton of athletes weigh out every single ingredient in their meals like it's a chemistry lab. It feels like way more than just tracking calories or macros, they're locked in on exact grams. I get that nutrition matters, but I'm wondering how much all that weighing and tracking actually moves the needle on their training or recovery. Is it mostly about nailing protein numbers, or is there stuff going on that I'm not picking up on? Anyone actually tried being this precise? Did it really change your results, or was it just extra stress for no real payoff?
